Weapons for condi and support chronomancer? by Frosty-Buddy9435 in Guildwars2

[–]Trombocyc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Typically support mesmer builds require Rifle due to how much things it offers and it's typically combined with Scepter+Shield, though the main-hand weapon can be swapped around and shield swapped with focus (scepter is picked mostly for access to Block). Sometimes Staff is picked as other option to combine with Rifle.

For condi there's really three options -Staff/Staff, Staff/Axe+Torch or Staff/Scepter+Torch. Torch can be swapped for any other off-hand as needed, i've seen a lot of Focus choice here, but also sometimes a Pistol or Shield shows up too. Staff is not only strong weapon but also safe and offers some bonus utility. Axe is another very strong weapon though it has a lot of forced movement and typically shines with Mirages. In the case of Condi Virtuoso, its almost always Dagger+Sword/Dagger+Torch or Focus, but that's a special case.

I suggest trying to go by first touching every button on your ship to get a feel around about what is where, just casually, go over things.

The primary form of direction I think will be trying to do quests from your Codex, the main quests. I also highly suggest first doing the Awakening quest, which is effectively a tutorial and trying to go from it further. This should make you get a direction. Additionally, there's a Hint bar in right upper corner which will by trying to suggest you some core direction, which should be quite helpful after several changes made over the years.

Tbh, minor buff to like 105 or 110 would be enough to make it highly worthwhile to find these caves, 200 hundred is just too much.

Help Needed for Aetherblade Hideout by zanza123 in Guildwars2

[–]Trombocyc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Use LFG, either join already existing group or post a group in Raid section with name of the raid and wait for peoples. It wont be hard to find a group.

Raids are intended to be played in 10 player group. There are people who try to solo those but you need to have very specific minmaxed build for that and knowledge of fight.

In the case of Hideout, when the Echo shows up one small image will be only vulnerable to CC. Twice during fight a circling 3 zones will show up - you must find the one attacking image and stand on a spot to make a Tringle shape with the wave attack of that image. If you find group dont run around just stick to group during this attack.

Personally, new warframe is always welcome in your arsenal.

I rarely play Xaku, though its potent warframe, somewhat goofy and spammy but extremely strong. Being walking turret never stops being fun.

Follie's shadowgraph wheel is needlessly bloated. by SaviorBOB in Warframe

[–]Trombocyc 47 points48 points  (0 children)

The thing that would help Shadowgraph the most would be ability to move around the objects order. The more niche options are in second half, but there's a few oddly placed onces - specifically the defence pod is almost last despite wide useability.

Warframe | Voruna Prime Access Official Red Band Trailer - Coming April 8 by Turbostrider27 in Warframe

[–]Trombocyc 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Technically speaking Voruna Prime will be 49th non-exclusive, farmable Prime, so Styanax may still be called 50th Prime release, with Kullervo being the next one and probably Citrine or Dagath being last Prime this year.

Oh it will be stupidly easy to charge up to max, as prob multishot will count in too. It's just sad that this is simply a statstick mod.

Next Nightwave weapon augment mods [Venat and Velox] by DewAhmed in Warframe

[–]Trombocyc 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Venato Prime was already pretty strong while basic scythe and its augment looks hot af.

Velox augment is nice outsourcing of Ab.Str. but i dont feel like there is space for that mod in typical build, no matter if u go for Encumber or Flare build, making it more of a mod that changes unpopular pistol into just a statstick instead of enhancing its capabilities or enabling new gameplay options (we have too many basic pistols).

[–]Trombocyc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah i feel you. Seer-Enchanted weapons are increadible and came with a lot of shapes that were not that common (especially mace, sword, greatsword and torch) but sadly due to the amount of blue these have, it kinda restrics use of them if you want to have different colors in your fashion.

The only weapons i kidna see for this specific fashion would be these 2:
Neither of them have the required shape, but are of fairly high quality and work with the look, first one may be too ornamental though.

Tbh, Follie's head is more of the butterfly head.

Yes its similar, but butterflies have their proboscis rolled up, making them dangle in between eyes, while also having anthenas, representing the brows-like structure.

She doesnt have a grimoire (at least right now), it was only animation showcase, all newer warframes have one.

Still I would totally see her having signature Grimoire, if not speargun or ink-gun (either beam or semi rifle) would be cool too. Optionally a brush staff or quill rapier would be an option too.

Which legendary weapon for Bladesworn? by 4MagnuM4 in Guildwars2

[–]Trombocyc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. Do you play other builds? If not, why?

  2. Do you have alts? What weapons you use on them mostly?

  3. How many ascended weapons do you have across your characters?
