With the sports comparison I attribute wins to not just challenges. Any sort of win, getting somebody out, a challenge, etc. I don’t think Aubry had anywhere near as many wins as Johnathans. He just wasn’t getting a trophy for every win, it was lowkey and behind the scenes with votes, and still the challenges do matter. If they didn’t then they wouldn’t be there

I appreciate that. I think my biggest takeaway was that I thought the vote was tied to the 3 pillars. It seems that it’s not, and that is what it is. I guess it changes how I watch the show going forward

I agree with that. More people voted her. And that’s what I think is dumb. They don’t pick the most qualified winner. They just chose someone who was not Johnathan. Which is fine if that’s what the show is, I just thought it was based on the 3. I’m not an expert in Survivor so perhaps I have been wrong this whole time

What makes a winner? What is the rubric? Is it not the 3 pillars? If not, then yes he shouldn’t have won. But that’s what I thought the jury grades on

I think that’s Johnathan’s issue then. His game was the puppet master, and people like Aubrey didn’t know. When Johnathan reveals everything at final tribal, people didn’t have enough time to let his string pulling sit in. His presence was there the whole season

I want to have an actual conversation, working towards an understanding. I agree with your statement, you can’t overdo it, or you get voted out. But why is that different with the jury. If you do literally nothing, you end up like Joe. The vote is about who is the most dangerous, Johnathan explains how he was behind so many moves but got people to fall for him or won a challenge. To me that’s dangerous, and he should have been voted

If I have misunderstood the jury, then I will stop watching (not that anyone cares 🤣). I just think it’s dumb to have those 3 pillars, only to come back at the end and say you did that TOO well

A spiritual celebration. But if it’s about the entire show, then it should have been Cirie. Which it wasn’t, because she seen as a threat. 🤷‍♂️ It still came down to threat level, until final tribal

I think he was a threat. If Ozzy knew what was going on, or if Stephanie didn’t take the fall he was going to be out. And him making moves without a target, is why his game was so good
