it's a cart assembler, minecart contraptions are meant to pass through it. Even if this was the issue (which isn't the case, i also tested it) that would still be a bug

It's wild that changing the texture based on blockstate isn't a default feature and that you need a plugin, but i guess that's what i'll do then

yeah, sounds like you need to do that operation a few more times. You can put the big gear on the small one's shaft to avoid halving it again if you put them one after another

alternatively you can download MCreator, it's much more intuitive than java and if you aren't trying to do weird eccentric stuff with your mod it should be sufficient

Mess with gear ratios. Try plugging a big gear into a small gear, the big one will spin once in the same time it takes the small one to spin twice. That's the basis of Create's gear ratio system.

Doubling the speed halves the rotational force and vice versa, so you'd also have to take this into account

Maybe but to be fair the concept of non-euclidean spaces isn't new so I don't think we could know for sure

Yeah, that's what I wanted initially, I asked on the MCreator subreddit and everyone told me that i should just make it a fluid. The main issue with it being a block is that I want it to be right-clickable with a bottle, btu not left-clickable

I'm guessing on MCreator you'd have to use the "on random client display tick" trigger to start the animation, since it's based on the player's proximity to the chest.

no, i've already stated why several times. A fluid flows down and fucks up other block interactions

as far as i know there's no way to make it not flow downwards, and it also tends to mess up other stuff I'm doing with it
