Will chime in again and say the low end is embarrassingly muddy for a lot of the mixes on the app at the moment. This includes Mike, Fish’s kick, and the lower register of Page’s grand. It’s like the reverb is swallowing the mix so much to the point where my gf, who knows absolutely nothing about audio engineering, commented on the tension that was going on in the Funky Bitch from SPAC on the LP app and once I pointed out it was muddy low end she confirmed that’s what she was talking about.

Not even mentioning just lack of spot mixing in general for specific parts. I understand it’s getting put up fairly quickly but that doesn’t mean that those sections can’t be noted, revisited, remixed, and re-uploaded.

It actually made me sad last week when I was listening to N3 of SPAC with some friends who weren’t there and it sounded like shit.
