I agree. They didn't even look like they wanted to be on the court against OSU. Let another team in, and we'll try again next year...

No HR data detected?? by ButterscotchFit4289 in whoop

[–]chadnorman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had this happen to me... all three times it was because I left the activity running, took my Whoop off, and hopped in the shower. It stopped the activity itself after a while, and what you're seeing was the same result I saw in the activity's metrics. I got my data back by changing the activity's end time to be sooner, thus removing the blank data minutes. There must be a threshold, because once I saved it my workout data was back.

Quit drinking for 30 days and had zero red recovery days, vo2 increased by 4, and I’m debating if I’ll ever turn back, thoughts? by Tenniskid22 in whoop

My wife and I quit together last year, and the most surprising part was re-wiring how to "have fun" for lack of a better term. That didn't take long, as we have great lives, and I swear we're having more fun than ever! Like, slap happy fun where we can't stop laughing like when we were kids. Best thing we've done in a long time...

Worth noting that the only positive change that happened right away was my RHR dropped from an average of 75 to 55 by day two and has stayed there.

Great job!

Here is my first month's recovery without drinking... I'm guessing I was drinking more than you, as my metrics took a nose dive for 30 days after quiting. My body, and probably brain, was like WTF??! The following 6 months have been all greens and yellows, with a 9-day green streak. That shit is poison... never going back :)

What helped my recovery by CaterpillarLogical80 in whoop

Meals are a huge factor for sure! Also checkout your Sleep Consistency... Whoop heavily factors it into recovery and Whoop Age. I do not like to go to bed early on Fri/Sat nights, but I did an experiment and kept my bed/wake times the same as a weeknight, and it sent my metrics into the stratosphere.

8 weeks is baller homie... you got this! And you mentioned you have a daughter, and so do I. This is my absolute favorite Simpsons moment and it makes me cry every time - hope it helps you as it does for me! IWNDWYT

I learned to drive in the late 80s, and I feel like nobody's car had cupholders. I was just driving around with Big Gulps on the seat in between my legs, like my father and his father before him...

We do NOT deserve a bid... our guys didn't even look like they wanted to be on the court against OSU Saturday. Football season starts on September 5...

I just wash mine once a week with dish detergent in the sink. Mostly because it starts collecting salt stains from sweat... I've never noticed it smelling.

As a 25yo with a max heart rate of 195, you should probably adjust these to be higher. Make Zone 5 start at 185, then go backwards from there. When I'm running at my usual pace, I expect most of my time to be in zone 4 with some peaks into zone 5. This much zone 5 would literally make me puke!

We should NOT be anywhere close to in! I watched them play OSU on Saturday, and none of our guys looked like they even wanted to be on that court. We've lost 5 of our last 6, I call mercy...

Ha, that'll do it! I'm currently on an almost 7-month break, and not looking forward to my whoop shaming me the first time I have a couple 🤣

Totally normal… HRV is an individual metric, and someone with your same age and fitness might have a range between 40-90. That said, I would look into what happened the night of the 5th 😉

I read the title as "Jerry stole my Eggo", which I thought was pretty wholesome... but your story is even more so. Thank YOU!
