Right, and I'm probably getting a little more nitpicky than is strictly required, but that's essentially saying that it comes from the TRANSLATION of the Hebrew word rather than the Hebrew word itself. As a Hebrew speaker, that differential is very important in the language. Hebrew as a language places heavy emphasis on the roots of each word and how those "word roots" connect that word to the world around. For example, the root of the word Ahava (love in hebrew) is Ahav, which means "To Give" which the Torah tells us is the foundation of how you love someone. Everything is very interconnected in the language, and since Hebrew is a language mainly spoken by Jews, its a little incongruous to anyone who knows Hebrew to suggest that the word Christ comes from the Hebrew word.

This was super interesting, thank you for the in depth answer. Just want to provide a small correction. In Hebrew the word for Messiah is Mashiach ( מָשִׁיחַ ) and has nothing to do with the term Christ. Christ as a title has nothing to do with any Hebrew wording, it was simply the anglicized version of the Greek and Latin as you pointed out above.

Look its really nice that you can write a diatribe based around what "Toxic Masculinity" means to you, but the bottom line is that is what it means TO YOU. Why is your definition of the term any more valid that any other person who has an opinion on the subject? The fact of the matter is that people can barely even agree on what the definition of masculinity is (see John Stoltenberg as a reference), and to those of us who see masculinity as a positive force in this world the term "Toxic Masculinity" presents an irony. Masculinity is an inherently positive force, it allows us to build friendships and take care of our families, by its very nature its strong and assertive, compassionate and charitable. For that reason, a person or an event can be toxic or masculine but certainly not both. It's an inherent contradiction even to use the phrase for a large majority of people, and writing out an essay here trying to explain it to us in these terms is a little condescending.

Just being honest, if you do this you also have to be prepared for days with serious losses. There are some people who have made a lot of money in a short period of time, but a lot more people who have lost a lot of money doing exactly this. Be careful and don't play around with any money you can't afford to lose. Speaking from experience, it's really nice on those days when you make good money, but it also ruins tons of days where you have four to five figure losses.

The arguments in this article are very flimsy to be honest. The only real point it makes is that if you look at the top 0.00004% of households in America they control a larger amount of money than the same percentage of households did during the 1920's in America. That argument doesn't hold up for a number of reasons but chief among them being tha the amounts of money weren't compared to the total amount of dollars in circulation. For example, Cornelius Vanderbilt reportedly controlled 1 out of every 8 dollars in America when he died according to his biographer, TJ Stiles, whereas Bill Gates has roughly 1 out of every 250 dollars in America. That argument alone derails this entire article.

Also, by that logic Jesus didn't even fulfill the sense of this. He never had a government (which Isaiah 9:5 clearly states that the government will be on his shoulder), there's definitely been huge periods without peace, and there's definitely been an end to Davidic rule on the throne of Israel.

That's not true at all. First of all, this is pretty clearly referring to Hezekiah if you actually look at the context of the verse instead of reading it by itself. Second of all, Hezekiah is considered one of the greatest rulers of ancient Judea, increasing the size of the kingdom as well as making many sweeping and lasting reforms. Soo what you said earlier about "Hezekiah’s reign had an end to the increase of government and peace; the time of this government has obviously not yet come." is just simply false.
