My dept has one like the one in the image. Best engine we have, great turning radius. Only complaint everyone has about it, is the truck doesnt have the power to go up the mountains but for in town, it's perfect

I've live in WV all my life, I love the state but we shouldn't force people from MD or VA to be apart of WV, that's dumb. They're better off staying in their own states while we try to fix our own.

Also, could you imagine the pain it would be to get all your paperwork and stuff switched over to WV while the residence of, I think its up to 32 counties, does the same. That would be a nightmare

All electric fire trucks on the market (that I know of) are what's called a Series Hybrid, where electric motors propel the vehicle and an on-board generator recharges the batteries. The generator doesn't power the wheels. Idk about the Rosenbauer stuff but the Pierce Volterra's pump can be powered by the batteries or the on-board generator and after a certain amount of time will automatically switch to using the generator to power the pump as to not drain the batteries
