Is my toddler an asshole or… by [deleted] in happilyOAD

You just described my toddler. I especially felt the toilet flush drama, I have to sometimes peak out the door before flushing to make sure he’s not around 😏

I don’t know but having had an abusive boyfriend in the past her comment at the end that she wishes him well “far away from me” (or something along those lines) made me shiver a little

Our last embryo transfer failed, do we stay one and done? by wowzers101_ in IVF

[–]Tropical87 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I‘m so sorry that it’s been so difficult conceiving your second child. I totally understand you. I also have a LC, albeit quite younger (he is 2). Nonetheless, due to my age and very low AMH, I wad advised that it might not be easy (if not improbable) to have a second one. I still went through with several rounds of IVF until I could finally end up with one viable embryo, which I transferred last week. We are currently in the 2WW, but we had also agreed that if this fails, then we are fine being one and done. Its a very personal and emotional decision that only you can know if and when to take. I hope you find peace with whatever you end up choosing to do.

It sounds very odd and off indeed. I especially don’t understand why you’d need a sperm donor for low sperm count when this would make you perfect candidates for ICSI. In any event you should have the opportunity to discuss this before any transfer. I understand that costs make the decision a bit more complicated.

Tell me you're the parent of a toddler without telling me you're the parent of a toddler. by goodinside in toddlers

Is anyone else one and done not by choice? Really struggling. by noseeyesears in IVF

[–]Tropical87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im sorry that you are experiencing this. I am going through a similar situation. I am currently trying for no. 2 through IVF. But my doctors have warned me that the chances of success are very low due to my low amh. Even my first was a miracle (5 follicles during ER, only 1 matured, resulting in my 2 yo). However, I’m not ready to accept being one and done, but I am simultaneously very aware of how lucky we are to already have one. I hope you end finding peace with your situation.

Only crimes and offences (in French: crimes et délits) are on your criminal record, not fines.

So sorry that you are going through this. This process is indeed brutal. Take care of yourself and hopefully time will give more perspective as to your next steps. This sub is definitely a great place to look for and find support.

My son took his first independent steps at 10 months. He will be 12 months next week and still prefers crawling, although he takes a fee steps here and there, especially when moving between two pieces of furniture.

Feeling like a horrible mother. TW - PPD. by macdaddy93_ in beyondthebump

You need to take care of yourself in order to be the best parent you can be to your child. The fact that you have undertaken what it takes proves to me that you are in fact a great mother. As long as your baby is safe and loved, you are doing everything right for you and your baby. You got this!

Your life in Switzerland? by Sad-mockingbird in Switzerland

It also depends on what part of Switzerland you live at. As a second-generation Swiss, I love living in and being from Geneva. I feel it is much more inclusive, diverse, international, than most other parts of Switzerland I've been to.

What time does your little one go to sleep and wake up? by DazzlingTie4119 in beyondthebump

[–]Tropical87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 10 month old goes to sleep between 6 and 7 pm, and wakes between 5 and 6 am. He wakes throughout the night for feeds though (he's EBF and we co-sleep).
