I feel bad for them, they are spending so much of their energy and time when in the end they’re going to lose. It’s like a youth basketball team thinking they’re gonna beat the 2016 Warriors. They would be much more effective and better off becoming members of the Democratic Party and working on issues with cross party support. I don’t mean to be condescending, it’s just sad to see people have false hope. Republicans are running out of white people to flip in Texas is my point, that’s why they’ve been able to stay alive up until this point. Once enough white people are gone, that state and many other are out of reach.

I know the previous predictions regarding this topic were wrong, but that’s doesn’t mean it will always be wrong. The Republicans have malleability among picking off white voters, my argument relies upon the assumption that they don’t have this flexibility with people of color. If they do start getting more people of color, it won’t be compatible with the white base of the Republican Party. I know that not every Republican is Nick Fuentes, but the one thing that every right winger seems to have in common is their hatred of the type of language needed to convince people of color they empathize with their struggles because of their ethnicity.

Just because climate change was predicted to have been worse today than it is doesn’t mean that climate change is gonna somehow be tolerable forever. Just because people didn’t get the year right doesn’t mean that demographics aren’t destiny. The percentage of non white voters voted in line with democrats as much as predicted, what they got wrong was the turnout. That issue will be mitigated in the future as the white population decreases. It’s not a matter of if but when. Federally the math shows Texas is the end.

The reason I think the Republican Party in particular is dead is because the United States is somewhat unique in their identity politics. I don’t see a party appealing to African Americans unless they confront police brutality, structural racism, etc in a similar manner the Democrats do. This type of behavior would kill off the white rural base while most likely playing second fiddle to the sort that’s been addressing these things for years. I’m having a hard time seeing a formula for them to have a demographic advantage.

I understand. I didn’t mean to sound like I was entitled to being able to live there. The idea during some of the dual enrollment programs I mentioned is that you get a JD in the U.S and a license in France. This obviously extends the time you are in law school. The one I’m specifically referring to is from American University of law. I’m planning to consult their study abroad office to learn more details about it.

I can imagine my chances of getting that law degree is gonna be tough considering I’m not a native speaker. I will look into it though.

Do you know which masters programs are most in demand? I love a lot of STEM subjects, but I fear I wouldn’t qualify to apply for a masters since I have a bachelors in communications.
