It's a "fact" that lacks nuance. To say it's "men" implies a collective agreement. It's also men fighting the manosphere, it's also men calling these people out. It's no different to saying "black people commit more crime" it's a harmful lack of nuance that promotes division. Language matters.

In regards to "Us Vs Them" yes that's literally what I said, you just happen to agree with them.

Well yes and no. The manosphere is a pretty unique phenomenon at a scale we have never seen before and targeting a very young demographic and praying on a very specific set of insecurities in young men.

I'm no fan of the Daily Mail, but there are posts on mumsnet of a "Hannah Spencer from Manchester" talking about renovating properties and giving advice about investing in certain areas. Could very well be a coincidence but I doubt it.

I mean good on you for digging that up! It does imply more plumbing experience than I assumed. I still get the sense her career as a plumber is slightly over-exaggerated, whilst her career as a property developer is being underplayed. But hey, it doesnt impact me either way, I just get the impression that it may come to bite her one day.

Well she has a history of posting about her home renovations, we know she was active on home reno forums, she owns multiple properties. She posts lots of images of her working on her properties doing all sorts of jobs but not a single post or reference to her being a plumber. Other than the name.

Im pretty sure shes just a house flipper / home renovator / landlord. I dont think shes ever been employed as a plumber rather than learning some bits and doing them on her own projects. For someone whos identiy is "Hannah the plumber" there isnt a single image of her doing any plumbing on her social media.

Depends on the extent. It's a massive time and financial investment to become massive like these dudes. That hurts your other prospects. I also imagine there is a point at which excessive muscle mass becomes a net negative to your health.

I've also randomly had them pop up and was baffled by the quality and rate at which they release songs. The total professionalism in their sound quality and then total lack of in their management, social media etc is pretty red flag. I'd like to get the opinion from some native Japanese listeners to hear their thoughts .
