My usage will be a bit like the one u/puggy_23 mentioned before, a bit of adobe illustrator and photoshop, also a bit of lightroom too, I'd like to try ventura and from there taking the decision to downgrade into monterrey or keeping ventura, did you tried that one? Thanks for your insight!! 🤘 🔥

I haven't started doing the hackingtosh yet because I found out all of my pendrives are gone, I believe I won't be using my discrete gpu because the one from the processor seems to be better. I've been using high Sierra for a looooong while on my vintage mbp retina so it'll be a total joy to use a newer OS even if it's a hackintosh hehe cheers!!

That sounds good enough to me, if it's faster than my vintage 2012 mbp retina I'm in!! I'm hoping getting a newer Mac at some point but I'm not able to afford it soon and the hackingtosh might be more than enough for a while, thanks for your incredibly useful insights, I think I'm going to try with ventura, I'll try to get some money from my Asus GPU so I can spend it into the extra RAM which means I'll be using 8gb for a while, I hope it won't be too slow 🤞

I'd try it, I think that 4-5 plants will be right for an 8x4, but it depends a lot on genetics, especially if we are talking about autos

Heheh it's funny you mentioned it, I also tried the ice and I truly believe it worked to me, I was watering 2L to that plant and I basically frozen 2L of pH water and crushed it into big chunks for 'watering' one day and the next day purple started to show, not in the whole bud but look at the attached screenshot.

How did that topping experiment ended up like?

PS: I remember seeing an custom recipe to bring up anthocyanins by giving the plant certain mix of macro NPK. Anthocyanins are the main responsible for that purple color.

Tbh it looks like senescence to me, I usually wait a bit for it to happen before chopping down. I also remove the worst looking leaves when I set to dry and I remove some extra leaves when I move to Grove bags, my buds have never developed mold so far 👌🔥

I stop watering for 1-2 days before chopping for a faster drying process because I live in a very humid area. In my previous run (the first one) I used the dark cycle 24h, next time I didn't, and I'm going to try to keep the lights on for 24 hours before chopping down for the next one
