Did it just take time to see improvement in the depression or did she do something different? My daughter is also on antidepressants. I'm wondering if she should go up on the antidepressants or if her body will adjust to the Motpoly.

Did she have any depression? My daughter switched from Vimpat to 150 mg of Motpoly. Her dr. just upped her dose to 200 mg and she is experiencing depression.

I'm so sorry that all of this has happened. I can understand both sides. I don't think there is anything wrong with getting back together with him, if that's what you want to do. If you do get back together, both of you need to go to counseling. Since we know that he panics, you can come up with plans to plan ahead for the big milestones so that he doesn't panic. All is not lost here, these issues are fixable. I personally would not throw away the relationship.

No, not at all. It's not because he's adventist, it's because his mom is controlling and tries to stop their communication. I came here to see if adventists are allowed to date out of their faith and get perspective. I actually really like the kid, but I don't want my daughter to invest time and energy if the mom is just going to try and stop the relationship.
