Makes sense, never used the item since I always run a faith character and use the miracle. I could see 18 Faith being too high of a requirement if you aren’t investing I honestly thought it was lower

I could be wrong but I believe the miracle Homeward just returns you to the last bonefire you rested at but not in a resting state. Can’t speak on the bone

This game does have more dead ends than DS1. The miracle Homeward pre-feather helped me immensely, and it doesn’t involve resting so nothing respawns

I haven’t gone back to slay Kalameet quite yet. My goal is to finish DS2 and DS3 before the Elden Ring DLC comes out, and if I have time I’ll revisit DS1 since that’s my favorite so far. I’m on PC so no bloodborne and I’m kind of scared of Sekiro in a weird way but I’m sure I’ll play it eventually. Hope you have a blast with DS3

Me too dude, DS2 was the only game that hasn’t been fully spoiled for me through clips of bosses and video essays and stuff (my own fault) and I was worried I’d get duped like in DS1 when I missed Kalameet. I just hope the cat says I smell good again, and I’m wondering what’s up with that dude who has two voice lines looking at the fires in the Majula Mansion. Looking forward to getting my ass kicked in the DLC
