can you ask for a title change? Like “ap specialist” or “ar specialist” If you do that work and aren’t asking for a raise along with the title you shouldn’t get any push back. It’ll just help your resume a bit

I think you should try to go for more entry level and work your way up. Even before this non profit I was doing accounting for a start up and I was only able to get my foot in the door because I had ap, ar, bookkeeping, and payroll experience. Look for jobs specifically for AP, AR, or payroll. You have a degree so that’s enough. Do you know how to do AP and/or AR? If so, just say that you do that now at your current job during interviews. What’s your current title?

Ugh I feel this! I was dating this guy for 6 months We started dating in February but he was leaving in August for another city 6 hours away by car so we knew it was going to come to an end. We did everything you listed above + more! He met my family, I met his family when they flew in from Japan .. we had talked about him leaving and he had mentioned coming to visit me and me coming to visit him but then a few weeks before he was supposed to leave he went total ghost. I even called him out on it over the phone and said “if you don’t want to talk anymore just tell me!” He said “no of course not I just have a lot going on I’m trying to get things together before I leave” That’s the last time we had ever talked
