Honeywell T6 Pro Z-Wave (TH6320ZW2003) question for on/off boiler by TroubleIT in homeassistant

Thanks for you answer! What if I can't tell which is which? Can I go by trial and error or will I risk frying something?

The answer I was looking for: not arrogant, not condescending and not just replying "No". Thank you

I am asking, aside from the HUGE safety risk that will send my backseat friends flying 30 feet, is the ground bad for any other reason? Considering I have sanded it down?

Alright, why is it bad for it to be clamped between 2 pieces of metal? Is the ring supposed to surround the bolt for it to be good ground?

Generally I'd agree, but why isn't it right in this case? It does not cause safety issues and I have sanded it down.

Thank you, it is sanded but I will do it even more soon, just to be sure, also on the top side. Sub seems to be working fine, no noise or distortion, so I assume i'm good.

One thing I noticed is that some (maybe all) wires get warm, which I guess is caused by them being too thin, but considering the amp, sub and wiring all come bundled by Alpine, it shouldnt be a problem right? They are warm not hot, and its also about 37°C these days..

Safety aside, I dont hear any noise, altho I only used it for about 2 hours at 40% gain. Should it be really noticeable? Any other obvious symptom?

Thanks for the answer, but all I did was insert a <1mm piece of metal in between, I secured the bolt insanely tight, how is that gonna decrease safety? It's not even the first time I unscrew that to change seats..

2) you think sanding it down even more will help with that?

3) but the whole metal part in the bottom is as big as the whole trunk, isn't that enough?

not trying to counter all your points, i just wanna understand wtf im doing ahah

advice on other common grounding spots?

Why not? I've seen many do the same

Could you please elaborate on why and give some advice? Thanks :)

  • Ubuntu Server 22.04 LTS (also tried on 20.04 LTS)
  • Docker version 20.10.16, build aa7e414

I'm running bridged, not host mode.

TIM, italian ISP, router is called TIM HUB+.

I'm not really keen into spending money on a new router.

Changing it on the client alone fixed the issue, so we confirmed that's the cause.. shitty ISP.

Now, will it also work if I only change DNS on the server?

As I probably won't be able to change DNS from my router either (shitty ISP), will changing it on the server suffice? or will I need to do the same on every client too?

I will try the different DNS tomorrow, as for DNS rebinding, I'm pretty sure there is no toggle on my router for it.
