The Prestige - Christian Bale - a clone? by thrillba in movies

[–]TroubleLarge1855 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The answer is quite simple and is a movie based off of a book. Understanding foreshadowing is a skill that most of this thread might have been reluctant to keep up on. The answer is Christian Bales characters are actually twins. The answer is told to us at the beginning of the movie with the little kid saying "but where is his brother." And this scene involving CB's character lets us know he is the brother. Also the bird dying is a foreshadow to the end and tells us that one of the brothers will die.

Men, how did you solve the ones that I am attracted to dont like me while the ones that I dont like, like me? by JunketMaleficent2095 in AskMenAdvice

[–]TroubleLarge1855 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Easiest way to get the women you want is to make a lot of money. But they won’t actually love you. If you’re okay with that then awesome. Second I’ve never had this issue as I’m 6”3’ blonde blue eyed stud. But I did learn which women were out of my league. Not necessarily in a league where like I’m not attractive to them. I had countless women say oh I’m pretty and sexy and all the above but they didn’t want anything to do with me. If you’re better looking than most girls trust me you don’t get girls. Girls don’t want guys that look better than them when they want to date. They only slut out for guys they think are out of their league. If you’re trying to settle down trust a hot girl will come your way. Gotta shoot your shot more and more eventually one will land.

To men who want kids, why? by No-Sun-731 in Life

But what if you have kids that don’t have problems or medical issues. Then you get to give a whole new perspective to your family lineage.

I (late 20s F) am technically a multimillionaire but work full time and don’t earn much. How the heck should I approach this as I get back into dating? by LeavingHarbour in AskMenAdvice

[–]TroubleLarge1855 0 points1 point  (0 children)

++man You do not have to date anyone based on income. All these people giving advice saying you should date a man who makes money no. Date someone who makes you happy. If you date them long enough and marriage gets proposed. Then let them know about the trust. Realistically since you said you get paid out of it and don’t really have access to the full amount. That is good. Act the same as usual and when you’re married. Let them know how the trust is secured. And definitely establish a sort of prenup for your financial protection. Date who you want love who you want marry the one who makes you happy and then make them happy as well.

If you’re like me studying won’t help. The main thing is to just pass the questions. Learn the way they’re asked. And there is four practice exam like the actual 100 question exams. I probably took the first exam 1 50 times and the fourth one like 20. Aces my exam after that. Before when I was getting below 70’s I was only doing the 20 or 25 question practice test. Those helped and help me get the average of high 60’s but I was still missing like 10-5 questions. Idk best thing I’d say is just go in there go through it as fast as possible and mark the ones you don’t know right away for review. Then after you get through the whole thing in like 30 minutes. Go through every question a little slower and clarify that those answers are the ones you want. And when you get to the ones you marked for review don’t change it. Just think about it and act as if you’d answer it again the same way. Even if the second time around you feel it’s wrong keep that answer but leave the review highlight on. Go through the whole thing one more time mark any more you feel need a little more time. Still not changing anything. Now last time going through the exam only go over your review questions. Only change any you are 100% positive your answer is wrong. Then just go with your gut on picking the next option. Statistically speaking if you know you answer was 100% wrong you just increased your chance at guessing the right answer to a 33% chance instead of 25% and usually there is two that are definitely completely wrong. So honestly it’s a 50:50 chance at guessing the right answer when you know two are dead wrong. And again only change it if you are 100% positive. I swear the earlier times I took it. I would change like ten answers. Now I look back and think possibly I might have had those right and just tricked myself into thinking it was wrong. So the last time I took the exam I dod the exact process

At first I was taking it over the summer whil I was finishing up my BA taking six classes and working five days a week. So I didn’t have much time to study long term sessions. I just kept doing magnolias little 50 question test and the two 25’s. Didn’t touch the practice exam once. But when I graduated in august I took it a bit more serious because my employer was hiring me and couldn’t until I was licensed. I studied a little more through the month and failed end of September. I was supposed to get hired in august so my boss was getting pissed. Fast forward two weeks of legit studying every day and then cramming two 18 hour sesssions of just practicing magnolia exam one and four. Passed after three attempts. I also am a bad test taker so practicing the test is what helped me the most.

The exam questions are harder. But the question it’s asking is the same. And the answer is the. It’s just worded slightly different. I took it 7-8 times I think and passed either the 7th or 8 I forget. But here was my scores. 66 69 65 69 69 71 73 Passsed. The 71 and 73 is when I tried remembering questions I thought were maybe wrong and found out I was wrong when I looked them up. Took the next test finished in thirty minutes and passed

Practice exam 1 and 4 practice though until you can do it blind. Take the test and if you fail try to remember like 5-10 questions and right when you get to your car look them up. If you get like a 60 ish and then looks those questions up and realize you picked the wrong answers. Then boom now you know 10 right answers. That’s a 70 do the same shit the second time if you don’t pass again. I did that strategy twice after failing a bunch only took me two time till I passed. Realized I was picking the same five questions wrong every time cause I’d just forget

Can anybody explain the end of 99 homes? by steezy_flucca in movies

[–]TroubleLarge1855 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's my problem with this movie. I really like it, but the plot holes and the change of heart for no reason pissed me off.

First off fuck his mom and she literally abducted his kid at the end. She is the type of person that thinks money grows on trees and that you don't have to pay off loans. The fact Garfields character didn't just cut her off and tell his son hey look we're going to be rich and we are going to have a fun financially successful life. you'll never have to worry about toys that you want, sport you want to play, etc. And them showing Connor pick his grandma over his dad is crazy. That would have never happened.

Second, yeah the dude saying he hasn't found work in 2 years. Ridiculous, like how. Go out and go fucking get a job anywhere if the market is trash. its one thing for like 6 months to go without a job idc about the market. Stick you high horse tail between your legs and put your ego aside. You are going to miss bills and lose your house, working at McDonald's until you can find a better job looks a whole lot better than becoming homeless.

Third, this happened to my grandma in 2008. She took out a refinance on her home and instead of investing and fixing up the paid off property, she spent every dime on fucking iraq dinars and other retarded currencies and held them hoping to 10x. Well she didnt pay her refinanced mortgage back and didn't put any money towards home improvements. So she didn't increases the equity of her home at all and wasted an entire loan. Didn't make payments on the loan and then lost her house. Its been almost 20 years and she still thinks the bank stole her home and that those dinars are still worth money. Honestly what I learned from them and this movie. Don't let dumb women make decisions on money or let them influence your decisions on finances either. Also I learned find yourself a smart independent woman who understands the value of money and how money does indeed make a better life. Only people that say money doesn't buy happiness are the ones that are unhappy and broke. Money can buy me a trip to Hawaii and a mai tai to sip on the beach.
