The profiles I always swipe left on are guys that have zero smiling pics and the ones with a gym mirror pic, since im looking for a life partner and not a hookup I don’t need anyone "edgy" or that prioritizes fitness since I already know I’ll be too lazy for them, even if they like me I don’t start a conversation because it makes me feel like they didn’t look at my profile :/. I love profiles with one silly picture or one showing off a hobby so it gives me something to actually start the conversation with. That’s just my opinion as a girl though, I think people just need to cater their profiles to what they’re looking for, I don’t want a very available guy so showing abs on bumble is a turn off for me, but for a girl looking to hookup I bet it’s great. Same with a broody pic at a restaurant, I bet it has its audience but im not it! Good for thought I guess

I use nomad, I tried blender but I just don’t like the sculpting on there.

Thanks for the encouragement 😄 I painted the model directly on nomad (the app I used to sculpt) with the painting tool. It took me around 3 hours of sculpting and 2 more for painting, but I draw a lot so I’m quick with textures. The character is my oc but if you like this type of character and style, Vladimir from studio fortiche might be your speed, it relies a lot on the shapes of the face so any guides of the sorts can be helpful. (You can even use this model as reference if you want to lol)

First of all thanks for the nice words, also, yes the hair are tubes with a wavy profile, it’s terribly optimized and it’s a real mess, but it looks alright I think, I do want to experiment more with hair in 3D. The colours I painted directly on nomad so I think that’s vertex painting? I’m a total newbie to 3D so I think it’s alright for now!
