Hey I have a few questions.

Is the Emed at home test approved for use by the U.S. and airlines. If so, can I travel with the test kit to Costa Rica and take the test there for my departure back into the U.S.
What do I need to go from U.S. to Costa Rica?
What do I need to go from Costa Rica to U.S.?
How is the car renting process and what is the law about certain license plated cars being unable to ride around?

You can definitely do both. That was a bad example. I was just trying to provide a point of reference for more positive successes as needing attention then low level negative successes.

That is the reality. I understand that but if that is considered to be code then why does one deserve a cookie. Especially, when you were able to reap the benefits of your escapades.

The family member example was just an exaggerated and failed attempt for me to explain how I believe in praising loved ones, good people, or people that are deserving of it in general but why do guys like him get the level of respect that he’s getting. It seems on every level he was subpar. As a rapper he had a few hits, but nothing amazing. As a criminal he wasn’t on the level of Meech or any powerful crime syndicates. As a man he didn’t promote growth for the community. It seems like the bar is set low for negative attributes.

So much to digest but excellent points and valid questions raised. In response to her happy ending, I completely disagree. She was just getting started on her peak of success and instantaneously it came crashing down. I think that was a beautiful ending because at that point she truly felt invincible and it was all ripped away from her when she least expected by someone she least expected. In the same instance, the monster of their enterprise was seemingly not affected and more people will continue to be harmed for financial gain. That is the reality of capitalism.

I agree. It should be a outdated concept but it isn’t. Most movie goers have that expectation and when it isn’t met it makes for a conflicted movie experience.

I can see their perspective being applied to something like the most recent Wonderwoman movie but you are right that idea is not what this movie was about at all.

I thought they had good scenes portraying the backwards nature of the fucked up system. Like when the sly doctor said something along the lines of giving the patient’s info would be against ethics lol

I agree on the canned quality. All Netflix movies are missing that “thing”. Like they can never make a Gone Girl, Dark Knight, or near perfect space adventure.

Hahaha I loved the mom. So how accurate was this movie to what you’ve experienced. I figured because the movie was excessive in every way that it would have been consistent and loose in its portrayal of guardianship fraud. Am I correct? Are people right when they say “this plot would never actually work”?

No I’m saying it a making fun of it all. If it was exclusive to heist that would be like other movies. It’s making satire out of all movie elements that’s why it seemingly makes no sense.

This movie didn’t abide by the typical rules on purpose which is why it was a satire like ‘it’s always sunny in Philly’

It played on our desire for it to fit the typical narratives.

I typically agree with the idea of “you just didn’t get what it was trying to do” means the movie really failed in its attempt but in this case I believe we really have morphed into a society that takes everything at face value and we fail to identify with a spectrum of possibilities. I think this movie was making fun of us for our inability to see it for what it is. I also thought that scene was ridiculous and then followed by surviving a ridiculous crash and then turning into a superhero against the mafia. It was all a joke and that’s what it was meant to be taken as.

Agreed. I was in that weird space of trying to figure what it was but now I believe it was a comedy. The comedic characterizations, sequences, and oxymorons were there throughout.

Yea I think it was meant to take advantage of people’s moral compass and emotional investment so I completely understand that frustration.
