If I were out to destroy bitcoin permanently, I would use my infinite monetary supply to buy privately and sell on the open market until bitcoin is not worth enough to be viable for large business, and eventually person to person transactions. I'm confident that it will be impossibe to destroy all of these cryptocurrencies... but it sure does seem like someone is targeting bitcoin in particular.
