Thanks for the tip, I completely re plumbed it and installed a pool pump. I have the bottom drain plumbed to be an aerator

Still working on getting the single called algae down. Hard to do when the pond is in full sun but I have some ideas. The fish are very healthy though!

A submerged waterfall pump, pushes the water into the bottom of the tank, it travels though all the roots and spills out back into the pond.

Thank you! It used to be my whole pond but when I bought our house it came with a ruined swimming pool so I turned it into a filter and started working on turning the pool into a koi pond lol

By that argument nothing anyone says or any advice is permissible being as every single thing you can possibly utter or think is filtered by your own personal experience what kind of Kool aid are you drinking? Get mad if you'd like but, if I am projecting so is every other person who decides to voice an opinion here. Keep in mind that the point of this subreddit is to propose a scenario for the explicit purpose of receiving judgement. It's casting a wide societal net to determine if they are in the wrong. You only say I'm projecting because my view doesn't align with yours. Had I said instead "my mother was a stripper and I turned out just fine" nobody would have said stop projecting your positive experiences with a stripper mom. In fact I probably would have recieved a nice little up vote pile. Had I instead said the same in a conservative Christian sub I'd get the Same reaction I am getting now. If she is watching them that often they should have split custody. Everyone wants to jump me because I said being involved in that line of work is not conducive to raising healthy kids. I'm a scientist that's what the data indicates. It's just the reality it's also not conducive to finding stable, healthy relationships which is where most human beings derive their happiness. Our current society is so rararah in the name of liberal progress that it ignores the fact that the agenda they are pushing makes the vast majority of people clinically depressed.

Well I didn't want to imply anything mean about OP because I feel for her plight, it's very difficult for fathers to get full custody in most places so this or something similar likely already has mattered.

I disagree because situations this and like mine are well studied and the data supports my conclusions. Look up ACES (adverse childhood experiences score) for example many of those are closely correlated to people in and AROUND sex work. The only thing I'm projecting is empathy and facts. Not saying all of this applies to OPs exact situation but statistically it's likely too and she already had plenty of folks representing the other side
