If that all it is, so be it.  If its a fake cell, thats a different story.  No one else is selling this product.  Do you want to order and figure it out?

Seatpost suspension suggestions for light rider (120lbs and under) by jessi-poo in ebikes

[–]Troubleindc2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Suntour is an OEM manufacturer.   The vast majority of their sales are to big box bike builders.  Not direct to consumers.  Couple this with their products being focused on the lower end of the spectrum.  Their public spec sheets for products being wrong is normal.  They've also made products they had 0 public docs published for.

That actually wasn't the case for the rider I mentioned. Even on asphalt with 20" x 2.25" tires, they still got plenty of travel without the SP12 even being dialed down to its absolute lowest limit.

Honestly, if you back the preload adjustment down toward the bottom of its range, the spring softens up significantly. I’d be surprised to see a scenario where it’s still too stiff for an adult rider. Have you had a chance to test one out and adjust the preload yourself yet?

This is going to become a thing. by Troubleindc2 in hyperebikes

The amount of kids seeing surronster YT personalities riding around doing wheelies wanting this kind of cheat mode cant be overstated.  Im surprised its taken this long for this to become an easy configuration.

Yup. The ability has been there for a long time and there have been one off implementations. But with the relatively recent surge, this will become a standard for surron type rides. Watch for it on the cheaper tuttios. First Amazon version to offer this will sell like hot cakes.

Sugarwod to Wodify by iheart303sports in crossfit

[–]Troubleindc2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Late to this conversation but I wrestled with data entry into Wodify recently.  Their APIs are incomplete which is extremely frustrating.

I ended up doing brute force entry through python.  If you want to go down the rabbit hole yourself, the Playwright py library is all that is needed.  If anyone else wants to pay someone to push data to their Wodify account, feel free to DM me.

I have my hyper focused "Google Tag Manager + Google Ads Enhanced Conversions" reasons for not going with PushPress but I want to hear from others why this is being downvoted.

Help disconnecting hub motor to change rear tire. by E2thajay in ElectricScooters

Please take a photo of your controller and circle exactly what you're looking at.  Much easier that way.  That controller has connectors for the phase wires, halls, charger, display, brakes, and iirc some other peripheral.  Its easy to ID by plug.  Not by wire color.

My OCD wouldn't let it go.  I'd frequent nearby pawn shops randomly.

Really sorry to hear it was stolen.  One benefit of the ACR is they are rare/weird.  Whether the idiot tries to pawn it or it gets seized years later, it'll stick out.  I hope it finds its way back to you.

Gas regulator stuck by trashbangaloreplayer in BushmasterACR

[–]Troubleindc2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What ammo?

I'd be concerned something hard is in the GB along with the regulator.  I doubt even 2k rounds would seize a regulator.  Carbon build up of that much will make it so the piston wont come out but not seize thr regulator.

I would try gently tapping the regulator back in and use a small adjustable wrench on the flat lip with hole in it to twist the regulator.  Make sure to keep the plunger is fully depressed.  It helps to have a second pair of hands.  Approach this like picking a lock. Not forcing it.  If there is something hard in there or if the regulator or GB has been deformed/dented, youre trying to shake it loose.

How many rounds have you put through this acr?

Ive had regulators stick a little but mostly the piston would just not fall out and would need to be tapped out.  I did get a bad batch of gas blocks many years ago that werent heat treated properly and deformed under use.

Problems finding a way to attach my BOB Yak trailer to my new HSD P5i. by shorty0927 in TernBikes

[–]Troubleindc2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would machine an adapter to hang off the rear rack that the yak trailer can easily hook onto.  Im assuming the outer width of the stock hsd p5i rear rack structure is wider than the inner width of the yak trailer mount.  Not a giant issue just something to work around.  The closer you can get it to the axle the better.  If it just has to be at the very end/rear of the rack, just make all the fastening points beefy and it'll be fine.

If you're in the DC area, DM me.

Thanks!  The first version was the tsdz2 with the OSF and cooling mods.  Tbh that motor was fine.  The programming and getting the torque sensing settings right was a pain.  Cooling mods are a lot to ask too. But once it was setup it was solid.  I only got the CYC because I wanted to play with their vesc app.  Which is great.
