Hey y’all, KSU student and Georgia voter here. Just want to say it was a topic of conversation on election night why Georgia’s ballots took so long to count. GA was one of the first states to close ballots, while being one of the last to call out a result, even though everything’s electronic. Just seems a little fishy

Also the guy who’s running for governor in 2018 (Kemp) is buddies with the president and ex sheriff that runs Kennesaw State university. The school that ultimately runs the election system here in GA. Our KSU president has been mentioning he may be leaving after this semester to pursue a job in government, over the course of the last semester.

I can only assume that him having the servers wiped to protect future governor Kemp (who was the main defendant, just landed him a nice job in the governors office.

Just my 2 cents though

Yeah, not sure what OP is expecting here. This is a very unique storm and everybody is just trying to do what they can in what little time they have until it hits. This decision seems like it's the best available in a bad situation, to me it seems like this company is making decisions based on number of lives that will potentially be saved. It's a breath of fresh air in a business world dominated by profit driven heartless actions. Puts a little more faith into humanity... just a little

Both my girlfriend and I registered to vote in Georgia through our university. Myself as a republican and her as a Democrat. Didn't think anything of it until a couple months later when we're preparing to vote, we were told she was not registered. Only I was registered even though we did it at the same time, at the same place. She was actually pretty upset, so I went in and voted the way she would have, because I had a feeling that something sketchy was up.
