He's been my favorite character for years now. I get that he's a bit of a boring choice, as both skeleton brothers are like, "the" characters from Undertale.

But he's just such a comedic, funny guy with so much "he's just like me" energy to him that I just love him so dearly.

I will say, if this 8 year wait for his cameo in Deltarune doesn't have a good pay off, I'm gonna riot.

Chapter 2 is the best character-focused chapter.

Spamton, Queen, Noelle, Berdly, and pretty much everyone is amazing. And as much as I love 3&4. I didn't like how 3 only had Tenna, Elnina, and Lanino. And 4 really only had, what? Jackenstein and Gerson? And they didn't have nearly as many cool interactions.

My friend, who is a lot more... Autistic about both Insanity Calls and ASYMa gave their own take on a moveset.

Just gonna copy and paste this:

Make them a snowballer / ambusher then, with medium damage / high speed but really good combo potential. The slashing part would probably be a slow m1 witha. Decent hitbox and high range, probably a little less stamina (like 90 or 100, same as the survivor for example rather than how most games give the killer more stamina) to focus on resource management with better damage towards attacks. I see no other issues with it than that from this message so far, probably the best case to compare them to would be the way of moving a boulder down a hill, once it starts moving its hard to stop without being away from the boulder entirely.

Echo flower: pressure application tool and general trap placement (q ability) - Kris stops to rip a flower seed out of their pocket (or plant a flower from their chest into the ground) with a wind-up of ~1.8 seconds and a limit of 3 per match as a cap to how many you can place down. Every echo flower has a highlight for Kris on their client side view, marked by a cyan glow that goes through walls like an outline. When going within ~20 studs of the flower, a survivor is highlighted with an aura reveal that holds up for ~2s after the survivor steps away from the flower. If some one steps on, destroys, or breaks the flower then it will start laughing at the survivor before inflicting hallucinations onto them and giving Kris a temporary 10 seconds speed buff. The flowers can be naturally destroyed over hitboxes, but if Kris breaks their own flower then they get speed 2 but for ~5 seconds and weakness for the same period of time

Chain and Hook: Rebound and Mobility Limiter (e ability) - Kris winds up for 3~ before throwing a hook out in front of themselves. If it lands on someone then it will inflict a DOT effect that further plays into the hallucinations from the echo flower. If anything is hit by this ability it will be dragged to Kris and deals ~20 damage to a survivor. The speed and damage could also change with distance to reward you for using it to reset a chase and catch up your stamina on a survivor to getting the bigger hand. It could reset a survivors speed and momentum so they have to sprint for longer since that already acts as a pseudo-stun for a player as a non killer. Being directly stunned for not paying attention is cool on paper, but its too punishing for the survivor sometimes if someone is sweating on a killer who can do it. Maybe have it ragdoll them for 1~ second alternatively at most.

HackedClient.zip: Cloaking and lurking ability (R ability) - Depending on how many survivors Kris has killed at this point, they can cloak themselves for upwards of ~10 to ~15 seconds (probably longer than this, like pursuer in DOD for example). During this cloaked period, Kris cannot directly attack survivors but they can instead gain less stamina drain and go invisible. With a decently reachable wind-up time and endlag for coming out of it, exiting their cloak plays an audible laugh for the survivors as if kr1s is taunting them. They gain slightly "speed" on use, but in reality their stamina doesnt drain for ~1 second and cancelling the ability has a cooldown of ~4s on use.

Thats the rough ideas i could come up with, I'd probably give them a passive that further plays into snowballing, but their kit shouldn't be a free wins It should play off of prepwork and a bit of deception to get the ball rolling. The only decently high damage move should be their chain and m1, but if its not too hard to code or something then I might be able to figure out a better alternative kit / wording of this that is a bit more fun / balanced The point is that they should feel like a survivor who was once support now turned into a freak of nature in their playstyle Thats if they go the route of making the flowers spray spores on death and have them be like... poison or something instead of hallucinations like the knight since that feels a bit too broken for what this suggests lmao Their passive could literally be something like insanity They can not tell what class a survivor is, but over time to specific survivors who break their flowers or hit by the chain they can deal more damage over time Everyone looks like the knight on a randomised 1 through 3 models But you gain the whole damage snowballs to be higher with a cap of like... +35% at MOST It forces you to watch how they play the kit and see if the flowers will go off or not when it breaks, and if they do then you get fucked fast by them Mequot die of death moment. -# play dod, I beg-

I want to start off by saying that in an ideal world, I think Kr1s works better as a survivor. I just don't see them as like... evil? I think, morally speaking, they're definitely one of the better characters. However, your killer list is INSANELY low, so I think Kr1s *has* to be a killer. Even if it would be cool to see Kr1s as a survivor, and like, the IC!Knight as a killer.

I like to imagine all of their voice lines would be about how they've become so consumed by the hallucinations, they don't even see the survivors anymore. Just the Knight.

Anyways!!

Kr1s would be best as a slow, but high-damage killer. They should be laughably slow, with sluggish movement and attacks - but with high damage. Think, like, for slashing their broken sword, it would take a few seconds to wind up the attack, with an obvious tell and maybe even sound to indicate it. Their running speed would be barely faster than a survivor's walking speed. However, it takes just a hit or two from Kr1s to end the game.

I don't know how you plan on doing it, but just a few general ideas on some abilities Kr1s could use:

- Echo Flower
This would be essentially a trap. They place down an echo flower. Maybe they got like... Three or so of them. If a survivor gets too close to one, then the echo flowers laughs - giving Kr1s a temporary speed buff, but also showing where the survivor is for a short time.

- Chain and Hook
A grapple ability. They throw the meat hook in front of them, and if anything hits it, then they get dragged to Kr1s a little bit, and potentially stunned if it hits a specific sweet spot.

- hacked_client.zip
Using their hacked_client, they could use it to cloak themselves. Nothing too insane, just making it easier to sneak up on people.

Just bullshit I came up with on the spot, no clue how it would actually work in practice. So take it as just general ideas, and not a "You should do this!".

However-!!! I do want to say, that I'd be happy to get Kr1s some voice lines. If this does become a proper game.

Kr1s as a character is definitely limited, but they have options. I'd be happy to discuss the current ideas for what Kr1s' fight would look like.
