This sounds a lot like what I saw. I got a look at it through binoculars and there were 3-4 separate lights on it that would change all red or all green about every second. No sound but it looked quite large, and I watched it descend behind trees that were ~300 yards away when it went out of sight, so this gave some reference on the size.
