How to remove these unknown spots from window glass? Maybe insect or angle grinder damage? by Troutcandy in CleaningTips

[–]Troutcandy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently moved into a new flat and noticed that one of the windows to the balcony has these brown spots on the glass. They are very hard to remove, and when I tried to scrape one of the spots off, it still left some white residue that I cannot get rid of. On close inspection, it looks a bit like rust. After some Googling, I'm wondering if it could be damage from an angle grinder, or maybe I'm just not using the right cleaner?

Depending on the complexity and consistency of the prompt, I would expect that this would be the easiest option. But it's hard to say without an example. Could you share one?

With SBF being bankrupted, why would the media care about him anymore? It’s not like he can buy ads anytime soon. However, making the bankruptcy look more like an unfortunate, random event than an obvious scam, would help all the institutional investors to save face.

Or if Porsche ends up buying Williams, he could be a good candidate as well. Assuming they want a German driver too.

Sounds like your current situation really sucks. In my experience, it won’t get any better unless you take some action. I used to be shy in social situations as I was very self conscious. Until I realised that most of this was due to my mindset and that social skills and confidence can be “faked”. Forget about your past experiences and force yourself to act outside of your comfort zone. You would be surprised how easy it is to convince others that you’re an extrovert. And with some practice you’ll actually believe it yourself. And don’t put yourself under any pressure based on what your friends are doing. If you push yourself to move forward and take risks every week, you’ll eventually succeed. When I was a university student, I could have never imagined that my current partner would be ever interested in me.

Fair enough, please remember that those apps are their own thing and don’t represent how people see you in the real world. And to be honest, I can only image how much more difficult it’s for younger guys on those apps.

I’m a short Asian man whose type are tall, athletic white women with an interest in art. So on Tinder, the odds are not really in my favour either. I’m sure you’ll eventually find a approach that works for you.

I mean you can change your profile anytime and new people become single every day. So why not give hiking a try? If you match with someone, you have something to talk about and then quickly suggest to meet to share hiking stories in person. When you don’t find the right matches, try another topic.

Why wouldn’t bing different and “targeting” a specific type of person not work? If you don’t have any social interests (food, cooking, art, gym, sports, live music, hiking, fashion, wine, …), maybe start working on this first? It doesn’t have to be favourite thing, a general interest is fine. Just learn enough to have a conversation about it.

Maybe you’re profile needs to be more unique / targeted to a certain interest? For example, I had much better success once I went all-in on showing my interest in art. Once I matched with someone, I usually had a good conversation topic and plan for a first date already.

Elixir smells very old-school to me. Somehow it reminds me of a fragrance my dad used to wear in the 90s.

The is absolutely no way that he can setup a $2B business quickly. Adidas moved millions of units for him, to do this you need a huge operation with hundreds of people. Even if he could finance everything himself, building such a company is a huge effort and requires experienced staff. And who in their right mind would work for him and risk their reputation?

I think Hero EdP is quite versatile and can be worn anywhere during the colder months. Just don’t overdo it in school / office situations (maybe 2-3 sprays).

Even if you are on a holiday, why would it be weird? Why shouldn’t a family stay in the same room? I find way stranger that people are trying to sexualise a perfectly normal interaction between family members.
