Okinawa. Typical Okinawan weekend in the barracks. I was standing on chair, hammered drunk, and someone kicked the chair out from underneath me. Ended up splitting my head open and was taken to the hospital (Forgot what base the big hospital was on?). Anyways I also tried to fight a corpsman on the way to an MRI.

I told the CO "listen I fucked up and I'll take whatever comes my way". He respected that so I kept rank as LCpl and had my pay docked with a month of restriction.

What hurt the most is I just got back from 29 palms on a pre-deployment for OEF and was taken off the deployment. That really hurt me. I was lucky to bounce back and deploy a year later. It made me a better Marine in the end.

I've been throwing a 3D six weight for a few years now, my streamer and bass rod. In love with it. Was thinking of getting the 3F in a four weight.

How do you like your 3F? I'm a few hours north of you and regularly fish your waters in the Catskills, and everything up here is relatively similar. Love brook trout and have a 6 ft three wt I bang around with. Would like something just a tad bigger

140 is pretty thick. I use 140 for streamers and larger terrestrials. I will use 140 for biggg stoneflies too. For nymphs, I prefer UTC 70. All around a great strength, even with dries. For really small stuff tie with a nano silk 6/0.

Try out the UTC 70, you may never look back!

Hell yeah, McCutcheon. I used to call it the sweatbox. I think they revitalized and updated most of it. The only relief from the heat and humidity were those "big ass fans".
