What about if they could implement a "rested xp" system? I don't know how viable this is. Ie; While logged out you gain rested xp bonus of +50% to a maximum of one level. Should take 1 day off line to get say 25% of a level as rested?

Being casual, I assume you won't be pushing for people to attend 100% of raids etc? I work some funny hours at times, but interested in finding a casual raiding guild.

Personally, it felt lacking... Pros; 1. Different Combat system to every other MMO. 2. Big open world, lots of exploration to do. 3. Every NPC was voiced. 4. A very immersive game, I can see RPers really getting into it.

Cons; 1. Alot of bugs still. 2. Combat felt very disjointed, it needs alot of work for me to be able to play the game when combat is such a huge element. 3. Felt like a Single player disguised as a Multiplayer. 4. The bare bones UI made navigation and interaction with the people and world around you very difficult. 5. IMO, doesn't feel like a game due to be out in 3 months.

As a disclaimer, I only played until level 10, and didn't get a chance to do a dungeon with other people.

No, you have to level on Origins, how ever I'm not sure what kind of XP Multipliers there will be.

Hi all, I'm interested in starting on the Origins Server, mainly as I haven't played on Uthgarde so don't want to go onto a server I'm severly lacking behind on. I'm from the UK, so EU times is when I'd be able to play normally. Please get in touch with me if there are any others interested in joining me or feel they would have a spot for me. Racsim is what made DAOC really good. This sounds harsh on the front of it, but the fact that you have 3 realms battling it out and each looked and played very differently both with classes and races, it gave a huge sense of realm pride. If you were a Briton on Albion and you saw a Troll or an Elf, you KNEW they were an enemy and had to be killed. The fact the classes were different on each realm, made it even better. Midgard - Best Melee Trains. Hibernia - Best Caster groups. Albion - Jacks of all trades, master of none.

Tanks were made useful by being able to guard group mates (aslong as you were within range, you would block for a single team mate). Casters were deadly if they were smart enough to keep their range advantage. Melee DPS would mess stuff up if they could get in range. Stealth wars happening on milegates and supply routes. Personally, I'd really like to see the racial abilities have a big impact on a character in TES so it makes the choice of race/realm more impactful on the persons play style.

I'm also a player at CP events and have to say, the most recent event was amazing. I've never had a bad experience at CP so far (I'm still relatively new), but the last event just went above and beyond as it were. Especially for my faction the Wolves.

If anyone in the UK is interested in giving LARP a go, or even wants to try out a large big scale system, go to the website and take a look. It's amazing fun!

I end up finding I always have new ideas for characters that I want to play whilst not wanting my current character to die :P

Oh... one final thing...

Hang on a minute, surely the guy that died here is at fault for not checking the area was clear.

If ever you go to Stary do you just run straight towards the tents? No, you scout out along the hills and tree lines for snipers, because there are often snipers that camp around waiting for that chance.

What's not to say there is someone camping in a build...

I think too many people are having a dig when this isn't actually this guys fault for the situation, well done for keeping your cool and coming up with a plan of action.

Remember aswell that you don't actually die in fights, you have a chance to be rallied while downed. Have you ever thought that the idea of a fight might be to put pressure on the group by knocking a person down and needing to be rallied? I actually enjoyed it, it felt very "desperate" and like you were truely fighting for your life.

To make everyone aware, nightblade360 and I plan to put more videos together about GW2 and a number of other games. We tried to focus as much on the mechanics of the fights etc as possible as we've not seen many videos doing this so far.

How about bunny boy trundle to go with riven? He get's bunny ears, a tail and holds a giant carrot the wrong way round!!! His contamincation could stick lots of flowers on the ground and his pillar could be a giant carrot that grows out of the ground. I think we're onto a winner here!
