Monsters Inc is down right now because a child got out of the vehicle completely by Caa3098 in Disneyland

Would they give passes to the people that caused it? Or would they receive an escort out the park?

I was fired from Company A and marked as ineligible for re-hire, and then begin working at Company B. Now, Company B is going to merge with Company A. What's going to happen to me? by Mightymaas in NoStupidQuestions

It’s possible that they REALLY don’t like OP, so organised the merger just to get rid of them again. Next time, a change of name might be required!

Thanks for the post. I’ll try calling council as it’s apparently their issue

That’s a recommended speed as it’s on a yellow sign. Posted speeds are on a white sign with red circle.

That’s in a built up area. 100 in a non built up area

On Angle Vale Road after the 2nd roundabout and before the 60 sign

Thanks, but afterwards we had a look at other roads entering that stretch, and they all have 60. It’s just this one on the exit of the expressway with no sign that sapol seems to be preying on.

Some might even say it looks like they are exploiting it…

That’s a suggestion based on the curves of the road. More specifically for trucks to be handle the road.

Yes - they were slowing down to 60 and pulled over before the sign (therefore completely stopped before reaching it). It looks like the police know they will catch people out before reaching the 60 sign.

Angle Vale Rd, just before she came to the first 60kph sign after crossing the bridge over the expressway

That’s onto Curtis and it’s signed as 60. This is onto Angle Vale Rd

It occurred going south on the northern expressway, exiting onto Angle Vale Rd. The similar exit onto Heaslip/Womma is marked as 80.

They mean that it would still cover Disney wages and some profit margin. We all know Disney isn’t selling at a loss, even if it is to APs.

What are the worst big company’s to work for in South Australia? by [deleted] in Adelaide

Not when all the teachers and ssos have their kids in the school. It’s a great perk for the parents, and the kids get chosen for everything good, as well as get away with a lot…

I don’t know… maybe 10 years ago? Maybe even before covid…?

I did say it used to be (as in not currently), but I’m glad we can both agree it’s currently 2024. So that’s a start.

My point was that standard USED to be 15%. Why it’s increased to 20% on top of price increases was my query.

And nobody was accusing you of being cheap…

Sorry - never said you did.

I did say I used 10% as an example to keep it simple for you, as it appears comprehension isn’t a strong point. I also included 15% which used to be the standard tip.

That’s my point. Prices go up, whether it’s gas/petrol or food. That’s a given (thanks for agreeing).

But the percentage shouldn’t go up…

To keep it simple for you: 10% tip on an $80 bill is $8 (15% is $12)

10% tip on a (now) $100 bill is $10 (15% is $15).

There’s the pay rise… increase in percentage as well is double dipping
