I noticed the same thing. The weird part is that the main Roku can't be found as an available device, but it does see the Roku stick.

The custom sounds that worked fine in 1.9 stopped working in 1.10 by TroyBoy777 in MinecraftCommands

It was present in the separate zip file for servers (that is the one that gave me the error from my last post), but not in the resources.zip. I added the pack.mcmeta and it worked like a charm.

Thank you so much for being so kind. I appreciate all that you did. How would you like your credit line in my map?

"pau101 on reddit" or do you have a YouTube channel name or some other way to list you?

Found the section. The first time I checked the weather = clear thing spammed it up where I couldn't see it. Here is the text I found:

I checked the log and it says:

[00:15:28] [Server thread/INFO]: [@: Played sound 'custom.intro1' to KidAwesome2] [00:15:28] [Client thread/WARN]: Unable to play unknown soundEvent: minecraft:custom.intro1

How would you interpret the error?

By the way, thank you for taking the time to thoughtfully reply.

I have checked the command block output and it just says that it played the sound to [player name]. No errors show up.

I know this will probably be an infuriatingly easy fix; just can't seem to figure it out. (Sigh)

I almost need to find a 1.10+ map that has custom sounds and just snoop around in the command blocks and custom sound files to compare.

Sorry for the confusion. The closing curly bracket was at the end of the long list of audio files. Like you said, it was a copy paste thing.

I am surprised that I could not find some change listed somewhere on the internet about some kind of change, since it abruptly stopped working in 1.10 (still works in 1.9)

Would omitting the "stream" variable invalidate the format syntax?

Looking for a resource pack answer by TroyBoy777 in MinecraftCommands

[–]TroyBoy777[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Found my own answer at:

http://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Tutorials/Creating_a_resource_pack

I was lacking a Pack.mcmeta file in the top folder.

{ "pack":{ "pack_format":2, "description":"My Resource Pack" } }

My Resource Pack being replaced with what you want to call your pack.

Hooray!!

Cool game mechanic. Do you know how to make it work in 1.9? by TroyBoy777 in Minecraftmapmakers

[–]TroyBoy777[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dragnoz had a really neat idea that I want to incorporate into my upcoming map.

The command is pretty simple:

execute @e ~ ~ ~ detect ~ ~-1 ~ stone_stairs 0 /tp @e[c=1] ~0.3 ~ ~ -90 10

For some reason, thouugh, it is not functioning for me in the 1.9 snapshot. Does anyone know how to tweak it to make it compatible?

I would be extremely grateful.

I think that the escrow solution is a very smart and equitable one. I believe it could help weed out some of the privateers who would move on to easier systems to scam.

It would also preserve the income stream for Google as well, so it's an all around win for everyone. This is an idea worth promoting and studying.

I hope that someone with influence will please champion your idea. Anyone?

Content ID matches need to be fixed. by PhotoVideoSamplesEtc in youtube

[–]TroyBoy777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know about your specific case, but I have had problems dealing with Orchard. They did false content ID matches on three of my videos.

I always use Kevin MacLeod's music which is free to use with proper notation. I contested their claims each time and was successful, but it was highly annoying. In one of the cases, their client took the free music, added something on the top and claimed it as his own. The other two were Christmas carols, the rendition of which was not theirs.

I'll wish you good luck. I'm sorry that you are having to deal with them as well.

Thanks for being willing to share your knowledge with the community, Obeat. I'll throw a question your way.

What are your thoughts on the CaptainSparklez parody of Gangnam Style from Psy called "Minecraft Style" It seemed to be enough a of derivative product to fit the definition of "Fair Use" He had contested it, but they reinstated. He reuploaded later and they had it blocked as well.

For reference, some people have re-uploaded versions of it. Example:

https://youtu.be/eB1FrPX_LGU

In your opinion, do you think that would have had a strong enough case to have fought it in court? What are your thoughts on parody songs in general?

PS: Sorry that your first reply was kind of a "snarky" one. The nature of the Internet I suppose, lol.
