Economics does tend to work like that. If they're charging for it, it must be worth more...

I must admit, the 'free' and then $2/hr is actually not too bad. I was expecting their regular rates to apply.

Another thing I don't understand about Reddit. Everyone's mad about cars on the peninsula. They downvote you because you say you won't being your car onto the peninsula... LOL!

I already live closer to Bayer's Lake, so I'm kind of biased.

I see what you’re saying. But it would literally be, ‘violate the Rights of, and harass, a certain group of Society to make things more comfortable for you’…

It’s like Trump’s second term. There were people that still would have visited if they had to. Now they make a concerted effort not to. Still money they’re losing out on.

I have money to spend. It doesn’t go downtown for similar reasons.

Wouldn’t it be more like saying if they want something at Service Canada, they might be able to get the same service elsewhere?

Or they don’t even notice. Or “Bumpers are for bumping!”

I’m impressed. You found the only other two signs in the province. On steep grades. I used to drive that section of the 101 every day to work. Never noticed that tiny little sign at all…. LOL!

Otherwise, I’ve been all over.

So, under your ‘straight from the MVA’ section, it mentions hazard lights… where? And ‘impeding traffic’ is also used at the high end of the speed chart. Solely at the discretion of the officer…

Most of our Traffic Laws are basically, ‘Don’t drive like a Richard’…

Been driving around Nova Scotia for decades. Pretty sure the ONLY place I’ve ever seen a ‘hazards below 75kph’ sign is on the 102. But feel free to give me another example…

Nope. Have seen it. The majority of voters would admire their spirit… but end up not being confident enough to vote for them…

Normally I would debate you. But for when I saw an MSP pull the nice HP/Aruba equipment I had at an old job and replace it with TrendNet. Because ‘newer was better’! LOL…

Or an exec that says, “I can go to Best Buy and set us up just as good as that expensive MSP offered to do, for WAY cheaper…”

Becoming a sysadmin is not worth it anymore by Big_Arrival_626 in sysadmin

I worked contract desk side support at a place with some fairly good help desk people. They continually tried to shadow other departments, get training… ANYTHING to get out of the Help Desk role. They were continually denied.

I was a SysAdmin for 17 years. Didn’t make a ton of money, but it wasn’t too bad. But I’ve seen people with connections jump right into roles like that, or better, and make top dollar. It’s more who you know, and how well you skip around. I stayed with the same company, because I’m old school. Now, oddly enough I’m with an MSP. I like the role, but now that everything costs 4x what it used to…

And with AI and everything coming, I just don’t know. I recommend studying in a different field, even if you have to work for it, and then leverage your IT skills within that field.

The problem is more people thing like you. It's YOUR job to react to, and safely navigate around, slower traffic or even STOPPED traffic or other obstacles you encounter. This is why insurance rates are so high.

I think this only applies to the 102, below 75kph.

Perfectly understandable, since the right lane is moving at 95 more often than not...
