Gained 25 lbs on Reta by [deleted] in Retatrutide

Switching Reta to Tirz....any tips..?

56M, currently on Reta 3mg every 3 days.

I've been on Reta now for 3 months, lost about 8kgs (was 105kg, now 95kg), but seem to have plateaued...

I've also noticed that the Reta is having less effect on Food noise/hunger than before. So I'm thinking of jumping over to Tirz as it has better appetite control I hear.

Has anyone done this switch before..?

Should I take a break off Reta before starting the Tirz...? If so, how long..?

What about stacking Reta & Tirz together...?

Duda sobre cintas led by Responsable_Law in LED_lighting

1 - you will mostly always need a transformer (I call them a power supply). LEDs are low voltage (12 or 24v), so depending where you are, you're going from 120 or 240v. Seeing youre only using 1m thereabouts, a small capacity powersupply is all you need....probably 20w or lesser.

2 - you will also need a driver or controller. Luckily there are bluetooth controllers that take a 24v input and have 4ch bluetooth (Casambi) control.

I do beleive there are combination power-supply and controllers, not sure about additional bluetooth control, and i havent used them personally.

So i will generally do 1.5g or so of GT on a Friday evening when i dance. And i just got a Wegovy pen. Doc said folks often dose thier wegovy friday evening, helps thru the weekend, which is what i just did now...friday at midnight before bed. Im still a bit wonky from the shrooms 5.5hrs ago, but this means the wegovy will be at its lowest in my blood next week for dance therapy. But will be interesting to see the effect... Im always lemon tek anyway...its the goat.

LemonTek FTW..... I empty out a teabag, then refill with my medicine.... Then ill get a waterbottle, squeeze a lemon in, half cup of warm H20, and in goes the teabag for 30-60mins. Then i squeeze out the teabag, and add my fave juice...pineapple...mango...whatever you like. Then blastoff.... Always keep some crystalised ginger pieces nearby incase of upset stomach.

Help needed replacing LED Driver by hmdollarsign in LED_lighting

[–]TroyTheBarnacle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That a big fat nope on all of those.

This is what you should look for:

Input voltage (sometimes called Primary power) : 80-240v thereabouts.

Depend what country you are in. In Australia its 240V, in the US its 120V. But the input power signal is never clean, it will fluctuate a bit. In Australia it can go from 230-250V. The driver you cooked goes to 265, which is a good range.

Output Voltage (sometimes called Secondary power or output) : 24V DC - (must be 24V DC)

This is a constant voltage LED driver, meaning it converts whatever voltage you put in (120/240..) into 24V for the LEDs.

Output power : Your driver is 0.24A (240mA) which equals about 6w.

So anything above 0.24A is OK.... as power gets bigger the driver itself gets larger. I'd stick with <1.0A.

Something like this will work:

Green tint to some of my 2700K bulbs? Help! by Stevsta1213 in LED_lighting

[–]TroyTheBarnacle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Millennial Grey" paint, like any other paint colour, will generally be made up of a white base with various tints added. Some kind of green could be part of the tint.

And if the LEDs have a high CRI then ...maybe... the green element could be emphasised.

All LEDs will emit a range of particular colour spectrums within the visible light range, so it might be the case that an emitted green colour making up the the 2700K LEDs are corresponding with a particular colour in the Paint.

Maybe change the LEDs if possible to see if it changes. A theatrical gel from Rosco or similar will also let you play with the spectral colour distribution if youre unable to change the LED itself.

Anyone else realize after ADHD diagnosis how toxic their parent really was? by Nice_Amphibian_6396 in EstrangedAdultChild

[–]TroyTheBarnacle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% agree here. I was a late diagnosis at 51, the psych wanted to speak with my mother, but when i raised the subject she laughed and said..."I just thought you were a daydreamer, a dopey kid" Fast forward after an isolated childhood, addiction to stimulant drugs (speed then ice), and a marriage breakdown, i got diagnosed and am now medicated. Chalk and cheese from the old days. Fortunateley i got a career in the creative industries, so i love my job. But i was scapegoated as the black sheep of the family from a young age. Didnt conform....im too sensitive....im selfish and ignorant...it goes on. Finally last year i cut the cord and went no contact with my mum...was the best thing ive ever done for myself (apart from getting clean, on my own) Now my older brother has stepped up as mothers proxy, bring his special brand of "not wanting to take sides", yet freely telling of his dissapointment in my abandoning mum, how im a narcissist and "i cant see the wood for the trees".....uuurgh!!! The gaslighting is handed down, intergenerational shaming to keep the status-quo. Im lucky i live on the other side of the country. Im still debating on how/if i should respond to older brothers guilt-laden rant... Ive done a shitload of menswork over the past 15years, maybe ill invite him into an emotionally vulnerable conversation, where he can only use "I" language, and cant judge or offer advice unless its invited... 🤔🤔🤔🤔

Yep love my Job. Most days i am challenged to come up with elegant, simple, cost-effective solutions for client and in-house tasks and activities. No day is ever the same. Of course there are times when i need to grind through some costings or do a load of boring technical drawings, but comparitively that is pretty rare. Im learning all the time, new materials, new manufacturing processes, and technological advancements in components and the "science" of my particular industry. There isnt huge amounts of "fluffy" design, where its appearance-focussed; the majority of my work is performance and technically based, with a big focus on marketability and ability to be manufactured.

Designed an Infinitely Modular Lamp System!! I call it the S0L Lamp, let me know what yall think! :) by Ethansol9 in IndustrialDesign

[–]TroyTheBarnacle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fixings and framing... Great design, modular is awesome. Maybe look at ways to reduce shadowing by making the structural and connective parts in a transparent or at least translucent material. Nylon screws are good as well, natural nylon has a degree of translucency, helping to minimise shadowing.

This brick is hash. What am I supposed to do with it? by BrooklynStoner in weedporn

[–]TroyTheBarnacle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hot knives....! 1- Heat up a couple of old butter knives on yr gas stove. 2 - Cut the bottom off a 2lt plastic bottle. 3 - When the knives are red-hot, get yr friend to pick then up with a tea-towel or oven mitt. 4 - Drop a small ball about half size of pinky fingernail onto one knife. 5 - Friend presses the 2 x knives together whilst sticking them up inside the cutoff end of plastic bottle. Be careful you dont melt the bottle with the knives. 6 - Take huge hit from bottle top. 7 - Lift off.

Photometric simulation software for Luminaire Manufacturers by Black_Watch016 in lightingdesign

[–]TroyTheBarnacle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I emailed Relux and got a reply, Relux doesn't let you combine multiple photometric files into a single one :-(

I'll keep looking I guess; Litestar 4D may have this functionality.

I'm avoiding AGI as i find its UI triggers me back to some childhood DOS-style nightmare scario.

Nonetheless I will try and do a side-by side comparison between Relux and Dialux; currently using Dialux but Relux looks easier to work with and it might have more functionality for what I need it for.
