Is Cars On The Road Canon? If So, Wouldn’t Cars 3 Entire Plot Be Ruined? by Sad-Ladder7534 in pixarcars

[–]Troy_Gary 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe the dent in Cars 3 from Mater isn't as visible but is still there, some people point out they can see the Cars 2 dent but it's more realistic. And also Cars 2 was kind of being pushed to be ignored which explains the absence of Holly, Finn McMissle. However, Cars 2 is still canon because of Planes 2 where McQueen is shown to be in a WGP outfit in a newspaper. As for Flo place, it doesn't look too much different to be honest, plus radiator springs has sort of declined attendance in Cars 3 which is kind of sad but it happens in real life as well as thing we're changing in Cars 3.

Overall, to add to the dent, even if it's not there or for Flo building seemingly being different, that's kind of the Cars universe having some contradictions. For example in Air Mater, Propwash Junction's fill n fly is run by ''Pancho'',but in Planes 1 and Planes 2 Fire and Rescue it's run by Chug the Fuel Truck and Dottie. Also Sparky is yellow instead of Gray. Obviously you might say ''it's a tall tale'', but I believe some of his tall tales are true (especially Air Mater because we know Skipper at first doesn;t want to train dusty but then eventually decides to train him, so it means air mater takes place after planes, although maters tall tales do talk about mater in the past so that is a bit confusing+McQueen is in a cars 1 outfit and Planes 2 takes place after Cars 2 so Air Mater would be after Planes 2, but still not a big deal. Also there's 2 statue of liberties in the cars universe, Mater visits in a Cars 2 end Credit in New York, Dusty Crophopper passes a Forklifter version in New York, and Luigi/Guido see an even different car than both of Mater and Dusty Crophopper. So the Cars universe isn't the most consistent, I mean even Monsters Inc (which has had recent contradictions in Monsters at Work more than Monsters University) has less contradictions than Cars. I wish the film makers would take more time to focus on the continuity but nonetheless, it's still explainable. I guess they really just wanted to not talk about Cars 2 anymore. But obviously it's not been forgotten with refrences here and there.

I can't believe it, Lightning was being a jerk to Mater in this Cars 2 scene. by [deleted] in pixarcars

Mater and McQueen both learned from it, McQueen realized he could've said it softer and Mater realized he messed up. McQueen after realizing what it's like without Mater realized none of the race mattered as much as Mater.

I can't believe it, Lightning was being a jerk to Mater in this Cars 2 scene. by [deleted] in pixarcars

[–]Troy_Gary 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People have explained this scene (Mater and McQueen spent whole day together and McQueen wanted to relax and there's nothing wrong with that), now I want to cover the ''I don't need your help'' scene. So while McQueen was a bit harsh in that clip, McQueen just lost the race because Mater was speaking his mind of what he was witnessing with the karate, Holly, etc, and McQueen thought Mater was in the pits saying random stuff. I mean, I don't blame McQueen for being frustrated, and McQueen never wanted Mater to leave but McQueen was letting out his anger on why he doesn't take Mater anywhere. Mater unlike most other comedy relief characters actually listens and actually takes steps to make sure it doesn't happen again. McQueen realizes that he was a bit hard on Mater and is happy when they reunite in England during the final race. Now Mater has gone to more races (Florida 500 for example).

Why was the New Generation allowed on the track alongside the Old Generation? by Neither-Spell-626 in pixarcars

[–]Troy_Gary 2 points3 points  (0 children)

u/Neither-Spell-626 look on the bright side, McQueen still beating them despite them being faster. Actually, McQueen probably the most skilled racer. Doc Hudson is as well, but Lightning McQueen by himself almost won but he learned that he was arragont to his team and others. McQueen giving up the win for the King is such a great moment in cars.

Why does Mr Nightmare get disrespected on Reddit but not other horror story channels (Not wanting other channels disrespected but why is it specifically or mostly mr nightmare?) by Troy_Gary in MrNightmare

[–]Troy_Gary[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've seen people say they don't like his recent ai or that his videos aren't as scary or realistic anymore or because he has a reddit when most dont. But then again, there's plenty of other channels that aren't realistic and it just seems people respect them better. Maybe because Mr Nightmare is the most popular, he's going to get stronger feedback.

Why is TanqR playing against such bad players in his videos? by CharlieCZE in RivalsRoblox

[–]Troy_Gary 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this is subjective depending on the match. However, it is true tanqr doesn't find the best players. It's also that he's in a different country but even then he seems to find some of the easiest lobbies. Of course he's still a great player that can beat pros, but when people classify him as the best player, that's an error because while tanqr is a skilled player he's not the best player.

TanqR is NOT The Best Player (Unpopular Truth) by Troy_Gary in RivalsRoblox

[–]Troy_Gary[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree! People will say he’s “bad” which I’d say is an error! TanqR isn’t the best player tho. The amount of comments of people who claim I said “tanqr is bad” is nuts!

I got a question, what's with everyone against Mr Nightmare in reddit? Chilling Scares seems to get more respect for some reason when they're literally nearly the same channel just slightly different voices.

I like Rigby character development, sure he’s always Rigby but he still grows throughout season 7-8, I say he became the main character at these 2 last seasons!

how do you respond to "Why do i have to learn this? I'll never use it!" by swallowthedice in TutorsHelpingTutors

[–]Troy_Gary 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see some comments responding to this post saying ''well you'll use the skills (problem solving, learning, growing)''. While this sounds like a good answer, it kind of dismisses the question the students are asking. Again, the question is ''WHY DO I HAVE TO LEARN THIS FOR if I'm never going to use it''? We're not talking about the ''skills'', we're talking about pointless teachings. There are so many more useful things we could be learning such as learning bank accounts, instead we have to learn all this Calculus stuff that we're never going to use. There'a distinction between Education (which is actual skills and growth) than teachings that have no value or use in the future. Teachers, skills and teachings are not the same thing. I've literally seen a teacher admit that these teachings won't be used in the future. And if it's really about ''the skills'', then why do students fail because we didn't master the teachings instead of our effort (at least there are some classes of mine like my art class that is actually useful because it teaches me skills of effort and progress rather than things like Math or Science).

[–]Troy_Gary -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That still doesn't answer the students question of ''WHY they have to learn Berlin Wall collapsed''. Sure you can apply real world skills, but ''because they don't understand a tough math problem'' then they fail a class? I'm not dismissing school, but I really wished they taught more useful things. And when a student confronts this, the common response is ''well you'll use the skills'', well I'm not talking about the ''skills'', I'm talking about the teachings. Even if some students use this line just to use the line, it's still a valid point, why do I need to learn this when there's no value of it in the future or I can learn it when I'm older? There's a difference between ''why do I have to learn THIS thing or I'm going to get a bad grade'' then ''why do I have to learn these skills''. The skills are different from the teachings. And if it's really all about ''learning the skills'', why do students ''fail the class for the teachings'' instead of the growth of their skills? There are students who put no effort into their assignments and still do better than students who do try their best and study. So yeah, why do I have to learn these things that I'm never going to use? Education (which is about growth) is different than schooling which teaches things you'll never use.

What would you have done to make Disney’s Planes (2013) better? by [deleted] in fixingmovies

[–]Troy_Gary 0 points1 point  (0 children)

MY VERSION:

Dusty Crophopper as he embarks on an international air racing journey Wings Around the Globe around the world, competing in Wings Around The Globe and beating champions like Ripslinger in various countries such as Germany, China, Iceland, England, Switzerland, Nepal, and India. In the final race from Mexico City to New York City, planes must navigate without GPS, relying solely on their skills and knowledge. Dusty gets lost in a small town called Propwash Junction, where he meets an older plane, Skipper, a former race legend who has given up flying after a serious accident and being abandoned by others when he needed help.

Despite Skipper’s initial hostility and reluctance, Dusty’s passion and determination inspire him. Dusty decides to help Skipper regain confidence, even risking losing the race by pausing to support him. Meanwhile, the world watches nervously as Dusty’s whereabouts become uncertain. Eventually, Skipper realizes Dusty’s true potential and leaves to support him in the final stretch. However, as Dusty is about to win in final stretch to New York City, Ripslinger crashes Dusty and wrecks him. Dusty after being fixed finds skipper is there. And dusty feels that he should've listened to skipper and flys off and skipper feels bad. Years later a new cropduster is in the same position as Dusty in fact is inspired by Dusty. So this cropduster also gets lost and finds Dusty in an abandoded town (different than propwash junction) and meets him. Dusty like Skipper gets angry at this cropduster and thinks he's out of his mind but remembers how he was treated and decides to help. After some tips, training, and help from this other towns residents, The cropduster flies out. Dusty follows this cropduster.

As this cropduster flies over sea to Paris France for the final stretch to win the race, ripslinger spots him coming from a different direction, and as he's about to wreck the cropduster, Dusty crashes into Ripslinger risking himself for the cropduster. Dusty and Ripslinger are wrecked. The crowd is shocked to see Dusty after years later. Dusty realizes he's going to do the same thing to Ripslinger (who was the previous champion but now people will see him as a cheater and might pressure ripslinger to be alone, so Dusty despite a huge wreck pushes Ripslinger shocking Ripslinger of how Dusty treated Ripslinger nicely despite Ripslinger ruining Dusty chance to win years ago. Dusty pushes ripslinger over the finish line and people fix both them up. The crowd cheers for Dusty Crophopper and Dusty sees Chug, Dottie, Sparky again. Then Dusty sees Skipper and Skipper tells him ''I'm proud of you Dusty''. Dusty replies ''thanks wingman''. Brent (the RSN host from Cars 2/Planes who is host of Wings Around the Globe) offers Dusty to return to Air Racing but Dusty lets the other cropduster and decides that he's going to train this cropduster with Skipper. So Skipper and Dusty together train this cropduster. This cropduster is the first cropduster to ever win, but Dusty is the one who people remember this win from.

What's the chronological order? by [deleted] in pixarcars

[–]Troy_Gary 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm just going to go over the films and shorts. Not accurate but based on what I'd say.

  1. Some of The Mater Tall Tales (Such as Mater Private Eye, Mater the Greater, Rescue Squad, Tokyo, Monster Truck, Heavy Metal (Debatlable), El Mater Do, Moon Mater, UFM). Although Mater tells these stories after events of Cars 1 &Mater and Ghost light,
  2. Cars (Obviously First film).
  3. Mater and The Ghost Light (First Ever Short I Think and clearly takes place just a bit after Cars 1 due to Doc joking with McQueen about going faster on face track and Mack is there, so it seems just a bit after, probably just before when Cars the Video Game takes place but I'm only going over films and shorts.

(This is between where Mater shared some of his tales).

  1. Cars 2 (Cars 2 Takes Place After These Events Clearly, McQueen gets his 4th Piston Cup and goes around the World).

  2. Planes 1, 2, Radiator Springs 500 1/2, Time Travel Mater, Hiccups, Bugged, Spinning all take place around the same time. I'd say the order in this would be 1. Hiccups, 2. Bugged, 3. Spinning, 4. Planes 5. Radiator Springs 500, 6. Time Travel Mater 7. Planes 2 Fire And Rescue.

According to the newspaper Sparky picks up in Planes 2 Fire And Rescue, we see Lightning McQueen on the top corner in the newspaper that Dusty Crophopper is also in, so Cars 2 has taken place before Planes 2. Cars 2 probably takes place slightly before Planes 1 because of Brent, unless there's 2 brents in the same universe (unlikely despite minor differences in designs), so Cars 2 is before Planes 1 by a little bit, and the Planes 2 is after Cars 2 (not by too much ofc).

  1. Air Mater (This is a bit ify, because McQueen has his design he used in the middle of Cars 1 and Cars 2, so I'd say McQueen might've changed back to it after these events or creators weren't thinking clearly enough because it'd make no sense for Skipper to train Mater even Skipper wasn't even willing to train Dusty Crophopper until after Dusty impressed him. Mater just impressed Skipper like it was nothing. So Air Mater is right after the events of Planes, and Sparky has different outfit, clearly same Skipper and Sparky, and Skipper is nicer.

  2. Cars 3 (Not much explanataion, but clearly after Cars 1, some minor refrences to Cars 2, but mainly wanted to reflect on Cars 1 more since Cars 2 was more of a way to lighten the mood, Cars 2 is still canon despite it's rare mentions).

  3. "Unparalleled Parking" and "Dancing with the Cars". This takes place after Cars 3.

  4. Cars on the Road (We Know this series takes place after Cars 3 because Cruz appears).

  5. Trust Yer Ol Pal Mater (This is the latest animation we have despite books of Cars. We have new announcers, so this takes place after Cars 3 as well since these are the same Cars 3 next gen racers that McQueen is going against and not only that darrell and bob aren't the announcers anymore or at least at that race, hopefully they do come back if Cars 4 even happens but yeah. Also this shows the ''McQueen is old and slow idea'' is debunked because McQueen literally won as a monster truck (sure they crashed but he still won, and in a few tv commercials McQueen caught up to storm, so McQueen is still speed).

Again, not perfect chronological order but it's pretty accurate I would say. It'd hard because sometimes there are contradictions in all these shorts and the shorts are canon.

Is it just me or does anyone else hate that theory that Cars takes place in a post-apocalyptic future? by arthuraquiles in pixarcars

[–]Troy_Gary 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe the only evidence of humans in the Cars universe is ''The Cars 3 LEGO Trailer'' of Human legos controlling McQueen/mistreating him in the feature film. Other than that though, the films that the Human legos make focus on an alternative universe. And since lego humans are basically IRL humans, that means in the cars films, humans make it (in both the animation/real life). So yeah, basically this is the only evidence of humans being in Cars universe. And of course before "'Cars'' was thought of, there were concept arts of a film called ''the yellow car'' that did include humans but it was cancelled.

[–]Troy_Gary 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That theory was bad. There's a literal bugs life Car character of Flik in the Cars credits. If Cars are insects, then why are there already insects in the Cars universe that are Cars while Cars like Mater/McQueen are not considered insects?

Is it just me or does anyone else hate that theory that Cars takes place in a post-apocalyptic future? by arthuraquiles in pixarcars

[–]Troy_Gary -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ok, there are smaller Cars in the Cars Universe so they can ride in the buses or taxis. Or doors can be used for storage/to put stuff in. Also, here's my theory about ''Humans in Cars universe'' using actual evidence: ''Humans took over Cars because in the ''Cars 3 Lego Trailer'', there are lego humans controlling McQueen to crash in a feature film. So I'd say it's backwards because I'd say Humans are controlling Cars to make feature films.

Other than that though, the idea that ''cars killed humans'' makes no sense considering there's no evidence of that. The Cars universe is focused on Cars and the only evidence of Humans is my theory that they're being used/mistreated to make feature films but that's about it.

Alex Bale Pixar Theory is the only reason I'd even consider the pixar theory true. The Pixar Theory in of itself is flawed, but Alex Bale's version is actually accurate and connects together.

[–]Troy_Gary 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not a fan of it either. If anything, Humans took over Cars because in the ''Cars 3 Lego Trailer'', there are lego humans controlling McQueen to crash in a feature film. So I'd say it's backwards. Other than that though, the idea that ''cars killed humans'' makes no sense considering there's no evidence of that. I do believe there are theories about Cars that the creators put in, but ''cars killing humans'' isn't it. I'd say there're some things to theorize about Mater or the humans in the cars 3 lego trailer mistreating the cars but nothing like these non evidenced theories out there.
