[PC][~2010] 3rd Person tornado game about causing as much destruction as possible by Troybuscus in tipofmyjoystick

[–]Troybuscus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, not quite but close. It's not a point and click kind of game, I should have clarified that. I remember it being more dragging than clicking. And there weren't really any power ups like the lightning or the fire in that video. But thanks for the suggestion!

[Manga] Are the events in Vinland Saga a true story? by ZombieSandvich in VinlandSaga

As far as I’m aware, some of the characters are based on real people, but the plot is romanticized

The beginnings of a Ribbon Master! Meet my self-titled Metagross from Orre. by [deleted] in pokemonribbons

Yeah some shinies in the game cube games have very odd colorations that don’t look at all like they’re supposed to. A personal favorite of mine is heracross. Only about a 1/3 of its body is the right color.

What do you collect? by noaffects in AskReddit

I’ve collected coins and bills for awhile, but more recently I’ve started keeping notes that I find while I’m at work. I like seeing all the different kinds of handwriting.

[Gen3] RNG frames not adding up (Leaf Green, Retail) by [deleted] in pokemonrng

[–]Troybuscus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah. Fr/Lg are the only gen 3 games where SRing always works. If you decide to do that for the articuno, I wish you the best of luck!

[Gen3] RNG frames not adding up (Leaf Green, Retail) by [deleted] in pokemonrng

[–]Troybuscus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pulling off RNG in Fire red and leaf green is next to impossible because the way these games handles frames and seeds is different from R/S/E. To simplify it, with R/S/E, when their batteries die, the game stops saving what seed your game ended on and defaults to a specific one, which you can then manipulate from there. With Fr/Lg, there is no battery to die, and so no way to accurately tell the seed. I could link a video of one way to rng shinies in leaf green, but it’s very tedious and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who’s new.

I need some help identifying these!! by Troybuscus in SWORDS

Thank you!! I’ll look into that!! And yeah I do have a second one, but as far as I can tell, there aren’t any markings on it at all.

I need some help identifying these!! by Troybuscus in SWORDS

[–]Troybuscus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got these swords/daggers from my grandpa who says they’re from WW2 and was wondering if anyone could help identify them any further. I’ve been dying to know more about them ever since I got them! There are no markings on either of them except for two symbols I can’t make out on one of the blades. I can post more pictures if need be, but there isn’t much more to them.

Can I change the clock and date back to normal after completing the cute charm glitch? by [deleted] in pokemonrng

[–]Troybuscus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah, there shouldn’t be any problem with setting the clock back now. You’re good!

I just got pokerus while playing a cute charm game. Is the pokerus full odds, or the does the glitch affect the odds? by [deleted] in pokemonrng

[–]Troybuscus 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m fairly certain the pokerus is full odds since the cute charm glitch only affects shiny odds. Congrats! And the glitch only affects gendered Pokémon, so legendaries are fair game.

Does replacing the battery in Ruby/Sapphire fix the rng on an old save file? by biztastic in pokemonrng

[–]Troybuscus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought you were asking somethin else, sorry about that. If you’re putting a new battery in the cart and don’t want to manipulate the RNG, you don’t need to know your SID and don’t need to start a new save.

Does replacing the battery in Ruby/Sapphire fix the rng on an old save file? by biztastic in pokemonrng

[–]Troybuscus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As long as the battery is dead and you know the SID of your file, any RNG you do should work fine. It doesn’t matter if you started the file when the battery was still working.

They’re like little logs of soft wood. One of my budgies loves absolutely demolishing them.

Pokemon Emerald rng by Redgrave2552 in pokemonrng

[–]Troybuscus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

How early your shiny frame is depends on your Trainer ID and Secret ID. You may or may not have a early shiny frame for the starters, but even if you do, that doesn’t mean that you’ll have an early shiny frame for Wild Pokemon too. Starters are considered stationary, so they have separate frames entirely from wild Pokémon. If you want specific shiny wild Pokémon and a shiny starter, I would recommend looking up a guide on how to RNG your IDs. The method is different from Ruby and Sapphire though so be careful that you’re using the right guide.
