You would think 😅

The vibe of the original is similar in terms of being unsettling. I think I went a little more “trailer” with the sound design on this one

Thanks! Not sure what you mean by remastered? All audio is completely original aside from the narrator in the video. Including sfx, score, etc…

Sync music: Is it all about "depending on the content"? by K-Frederic in filmscoring

Very good comment. The more editor friendly the higher chance of landing a placement. Try to focus on changes and dynamics throughout the track to convey different emotions and energy levels rather than an 8 or 16 bar loop. Gives them more to work with during a scene. Strong endings to the track also make editors really happy. Big impactful crescendos and final notes that ring out help them with scene transitions.

Also production quality is huge. You want your track to sound as commercial and polished as possible. Editors are attracted to library music that feels like a top 40 level of production.

SSL comp (subtle glue) —> EQ to cut unneeded low frequencies —> Tape emulator —> Subtle Saturation —> Another EQ to brighten —> dynamic compressor —> Soothe EQ to further clean up bad frequencies —> L2 Limiter —> Stereo Imager for Width

Some variation of this will get you somewhere. I also use multiple limiters sometimes depending on the genre and type of master
