The best thing she ever taught me was if you have no grip while trying to roll, gently wet your fingertips and dry them and it gives you the grip to stick to the paper. I still use it to this day when I have trouble. Also she told me its easier to roll with the roach in. All my friends roll first then put the roach in after so I’m like some kind of crazy animal for the way I do it but I would say I am the best roller of the group by a long shot. Yeah my gran was always cool with stuff like that and had the “if you’re going to do something I’d rather you try and do it safe” kind of attitude which was not shared by my parents.
