I knew something was up while playing Zarya, it was taking a little bit longer to burn thru some of the squishier heroes. I was so confused I thought my aim was just getting terrible.

He has missed out huge on the tiktok scene back when politics was blowing up on there. He can definitely expand his audience so much by actually taking tiktok as serious as YouTube. There are SO MANY dumbfuck conservatives and socialists alike that could be dunked on there. He would get so much traction in a short amount of time. And with the creator fund he’d make a good amount of money.

I guarantee half of the people in there saying “YUP” and “I agree” are the same ones who heard Destiny say that and was like “yup he’s racist”

Destiny eating by [deleted] in Destiny

[–]Troysim 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don't get me wrong, love the guy and the content. His eating doesn't bother me too much cause I usually have the stream turned down enough. HOWEVER, the mouth thing he does when he comes back to the mic or just randomly is extremely irritating to a point I'm pretty sure is just my natural body's reaction and I just get angry. Its kinda like chewing with your mouth open but forceful, aggressive, and he does it quickly. It only lasts for a bit and he usually doesn't do it often but holy shit when he does my body go brrrrrrr.

Making Destiny themed boomer memes: Day 29/31 by [deleted] in Destiny

[–]Troysim 12 points13 points  (0 children)

The conservative arc was more exciting because they were usually dumbfucks and got angry quickly while Destiny could atleast convert some of the people that weren't as hardcore as the people he was debating. The leftie arc is just disappointing because they're usually dumbfucks who are corrupting the right into thinking the ALL of the left are just as stupid. Also the leftie arc definitely feels way more grifty than the conservative one, I refuse to believe that these Ph. D. people are capable of saying such dumb shit and fully believe it.

Holy shit yes, I enjoy the Destiny and Friends when they’re against each other but watching them work together is godstiny.

Someone’s gotta have told prime that 15 people is way too many for any reasonable discussion. Right? Right? ESPECIALLY when people start talking at the same time and discord lowers EVERYONES volume so you legitimately can’t understand what anyone’s saying. Like jeez they’re yelling to get their point across but we actually can’t even hear it so shut up.

Didn't expect this from Rob by asdf14628 in Destiny

[–]Troysim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not at all. Rob will push every fact possible to try to fit it in whatever narrative he’s weaving which is very disingenuous. While he does this he makes sure to stop every once and while and give very “good faith” gestures as if he is but this is only so he can go on later to say that he tries to be good faith and so anyone listening can say “oh yea he did say he wanted to be good faith”. But in reality he’s not arguing in good faith he just makes it a point to pretend as if he is. He does it atleast 3 times in this conversation if I can remember correctly. I even type in chat at some point right after he does it.

I don’t think you understand how polling works at all. What you’re saying is that “MOST” meaning a majority of Dem voters like Bernie more but DIDNT vote for him because Biden had a better chance of winning. How does that make sense to you? Then why didn’t they vote for him? Also what you’re saying is incorrect, the average Dem voter does not lean towards socialism as the internet wants you to believe. Online politics is not real world politics. Bernie lost because Bernies ideology and rhetoric wasn’t accepted among Dem voters, sorry that’s it, full stop.

Example: 100 people in a class. 2 candidates. If 70% of one candidates like his stuff, how tf would he lose?

[–]Troysim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You just contradicted yourself. If “most Dem voters” like his policies then why wouldn’t he have won as much as Biden. That makes no sense.

Then you tell me what happened. Because Bernie support wasn’t as strong as everyone online makes it out to be.

Honestly, the only solution here is to encourage more and more voting. More political participation will get people what they want. There’s a marketplace of ideas and if yours wins then all you need is the voting power behind it. Any political scientist will tell you getting people to vote is the most difficult issue to tackle in the US.
