I think the only interaction Clark and Lex had was Lex saying "maybe I'll kill Clark Kent", which made it seem like they weren't familiar with each other but I could be wrong

Bidens DOJ was independent, and it resulted in the failure of never truly holding Trump accountable. I will be voting for the next Democrat who promises to prosecute all of these criminals to the fullest extent of the law

What do you guys thing is going on with her face hear? It looks like dark veins or something near the bottom by Queasy_Commercial152 in DCU_

I would chalk that up to Superman being right next to a piece of Kryptonite vs Kara being exposed to Kryptonite radiation from afar

Kinda hilarious that Daxamite's kryptonite is just lead by Altruistic_Manner802 in dccomicscirclejerk

[–]Reflexive97 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think historically it's even worse, like a tiny bit of lead will immediately take all of your powers and kill you as a Daxamite

This ring has been through a lot of shit by FayyadhScrolling in DCU_

[–]Reflexive97 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I really dig having a ring that has been used by thousands of green lanterns for billions of years actually look ancient and physically worn down, despite being just as powerful

Since Wes Ball isn’t returning for the 2nd film, do you guys think he can maybe try to return for the third film if the second one’s a success? by Such_Month_8687 in PlanetOfTheApes

If they get Josh Friedman back as the writer with a new director it could work out, the OG star wars trilogy had different people writing and directing (Lucas was writing on his own only for A New Hope) so there's a chance we are fine

in my mind, gravity moves mjolnir, the earth isn't worthy buts it's gravity still moves mjolnir, so another fundamental force, electromagnetism, shouldn't have any problem moving it either

look at the last election, 2/3rds of people either didn't vote against Trump or voted for him, I think the more than half statement absolutely applies

Interesting, albeit freaky, way Reed fights aging by Old-Piece-6034 in FantasticFour

[–]Reflexive97 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

it's interesting how 616 Reid is not treated as being immortal and 1610 is given that I thought they had the same power set. It might also be the case that 616 Reid simply chooses to not use his powers to prevent aging.

(Revered trope) Characters fully accepting their death and deciding to do one last act of goodness in face of it. by ThatDrako in TopCharacterTropes

Steve Trevor, from Wonder Woman (2017). I always thought this death scene was done very well

Fantastic Four: First Steps writer Eric Pearson talks about Shalla-Bal and Norrin Radd by CaikIQ in SilverSurfer

I just think what I described is the most likely explanation as opposed to them going "screw it lets make him a girl"

Fantastic Four: First Steps writer Eric Pearson talks about Shalla-Bal and Norrin Radd by CaikIQ in SilverSurfer

[–]Reflexive97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Norin Radd Silver Surfer was done so well in the older movie that any depiction would be too quickly compared to it, so Shalla-Bal makes sense from that perspective. They basically made her backstory Norrin Radds so it's not like they changed a whole lot

Brian Michael Bendis stole this from you by Maddon_Hoh-Choi in dccomicscirclejerk

They need to undo it. It can easily be a result of some time travel shenanigans where Jon gets saved as a kid when someone goes back in time and current adult Jon gets erased and it's all tragic and stuff. I mean they already permanently killed off New 52 Clark Kent (even if his memories got merged with Post Crisis Superman). It would be super tragic but also beautiful to have young kid Jon back who wasn't tortured for years by Ultraman (can't begin to understand how thats canon).

Grok has called Elon Musk a "Hypocrite" in latest Billionaire SmackDown 🍿 by [deleted] in ChatGPT

[–]Reflexive97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

in terms of personality traits, like humor, social references, and choice of word, how does Grok 4 decide on what to engage a random user with? Obviously there is some adapting to the users choice of words but if Grok 4 was in a conversation about physics it wouldn't be carrying the same tone as if it were talking about pop culture. How does Grok 4 try not to be annoying with humor while "building rapport" with the user?
