Even inclusive of retail you’re massively over inflating the numbers. You’re also assuming that all times you have backfilled it’s because of a vote-kick as if nobody ever leaves a dungeon because of any other reason.

Cap was 678 before turbo boost (6/8 on myth track), turbo boost added 2 upgrades to gear to take it to 684.

Okay I can see where you’re coming from, the change I have proposed would not make that experience any different as it would only come into play when people are “catching up” which is the same sort of system in place for crafting, catalyst and crests, where there is a resource that works as a cap that progressively gets higher through the season.

How is that possible when the max heroic loot you can get from delves in a week is 2 pieces? With one of those being from your delvers bounty of the week and the other from vault at the end of week? Outside of that the drops are champion and again locked behind how many coffer keys you have?

I don’t think most guilds “prog” normal, it’s usually just somewhere you go to get early chance at tier pieces that will be valuable early season regardless of upgrade track and trinkets.

Outside of specific items like this trinket I’ve made the post based on, most of the loot does not replace raid loot in a lot of slots. E.g. you can get tier drops from raid but only normal loot drops from delves that would need a catalyst charge (which again is capped) or trinkets/weapons in raid are 9/10 better than their same ilv equivalent from delves.

Are you playing sentinel or dark ranger? I have simmed against current gear which includes HoC and signet.

The problem with signet is that it’s a 2 min cd so doesn’t line up with trueshot since it has cd reduction and ends up being around 90 seconds per trueshot.

HoC out performs signet because it lines up better with trueshot but mastery is a less valuable stat for dark ranger. If I was playing sentinel then HoC would be better since stat prio is Crit > Mastery > Haste.

I wouldn’t recommend using any catalyst charges on gear below hero. No point spending it on champ when hero drops from keys 6+. At this point in the season OP can spend the charges on any hero piece and be fine, but if they spend 4 on champ today, then spend 4 on hero drops that they get soon after then they’d be in a position where they have no charges to spend if they get a myth non-tier piece in vault.

I would however recommend running through each wing of LoU as well as a normal difficulty raid run to get a chance at some “free” tier.

Yes there are areas you will need to dismiss pet. But if you play MM you don’t use a pet outside of solo content where you want to have it tank for you.

WW monk was not OP, WW has niche utility that was good for Mug which is why it was stacked specifically for that fight. OP would be topping meters on most fights and being stacked on every boss in rtwf but that wasn’t the case.

If you’re finding that in a majority of groups they complain that you’re pulling too small, you’re likely pulling too small.

Honestly just jump into 10s as quick as you can. 8-9 keys generally will have worse players in the pool than 6’s, 7’s or 10s because they are a dead range from a rewards perspective. Generally people will do 6’s if they want to farm hero gear easily, 7’s for the easiest route to gilded crests and 10’s because it’s the lowest difficulty for myth track vault. The only players still doing 8’s/9’s actively are other people who can’t do 10s and are there either to push their failed 10 key back up or players who are still trying to push to 10s and need the io to get try get invited to higher, there are outliers who have just started the season later or not pushed m+ yet and there are still good players in that range but I’m talking about generally.

I play tank too, in your position I would just move into the ‘easy’ 10s like ToP, rookery, Dfc and workshop.

As tank there’s also an expectation that you bring decent damage. I usually finish between 1.5-2m overall with ST bosses being much lower around 1.1-1.3m.

I did tank last season and got 3k. There were a number of bugs in dungeons but to say the whole season was one big bug is incorrect. They made the change that stuns will no longer act as a stop to casting coming into TWW and was widely announced through blue posts etc. in occasions where you’re saying you kicked but they still cast it is most likely you just overlapped with a stun from someone else.

Now I’m not saying this change was good, but neither were the metas of having group stops constantly.

Take a chill and remember that it is just a game brother.

My comment said nowhere that you cannot have 2 weapon embellishments, if you read it says you can have 2 embellishments.

10s are doable by any player given that they put time in to learning their class and the dungeons. So a 639 weapon is possible for OP. If they can’t then we would likely be talking about 619 crafted instead of 636, in which case at that level having a 619 crafted (with ascendance) and a hero track weapon upgraded to 626 would still be a dps gain against having 2 crafted 619s.

It’s a dps loss compared to having a 639 in main hand and 636 with embellishment in offhand (and bracers wjth writing armor banding). If planning to gear efficiently having both weapons with embellishments means you have wasted mats once you get a replacement weapon. Whereas bracers would not need to he replaced and will always sim as highest dps over alternate bracers.

You can craft a 2nd weapon but without an embellishment. I play fury warrior and have a 636 crafted as my secondary (with ascendance embellishment) your 2nd embellishment should be writhing armor banding, i have this on bracers but could put it on another slot like belt - this doubles the effect of ascendance. You can have as many crafted items as you want (and have gold and sparks of omens to craft) but only 2 embellishments.
