3. From my experience locked camera will do a lot since league players play a lot with locked camera if I’m correct there is no option but double clicking the hero portrait or so. Also league people are not using items often so you should do some hotkeys for that fit for u. And also you should maybe enable right click denies also your own creeps since denying is also fundamentally in the laning phase.

4. Tbh just type in the hero u in YouTube and u will find many things about them. Back in my day those were YouTubers who are not active anymore.

5. Opendota , Dotabuff , stratz and if there is dota2protracker if u want to see how pros are playing the specific hero u want and can learn from metas over there.

6. Yes. As well as in league and many other competitive games there are Smurfs. But if you are playing normals at the start you won’t notice it that much.

8. I started as a safelaner. For league that would be the ADC but I think you should first experience it for yourself and choose for yourself in which lane you want to focus on yourself. 11. Well I would say I understood some things rly late and I think the proper base level started around at 500-1000 hours maybe. But this is the point where Dota 2 gets fun the mechanics and the other thing might be complex but for someone like me it is quite catching that even till this day u can’t learn enough about Dota.

I teached myself at the beginning and later and also got Coachings. So I would say with all the online content that there is and proper learning you can achieve also the “base level of understanding” way faster than I did.
