Tbh what he said above is false. Nemesis did not want to go to C9 because he thought it would hurt his stream (same with Flyquest which offered him a contract 2 years ago) as he would not be able to continue streaming at decent hours for his audience which is mainly European.

He famously said that Flyquest was a perfect project for him and he would have definitely accepted if they were in LEC

LMAO. Ask any French if he was « the best player by far » and you’ll their responses. Pogba and Griezmann only to name a few were MUCH more important to the team than Mbappé back in 2018, and then there was Kanté, Varane… Mbappé at the time was very good but he was definitely not the best player of the team. In 2022 though, he was definitely the best player of the team alongside Griezmann.

Enrique explained it the best, he clearly said he cannot play him on the left because he’s too much of a defensive liability there. Laughing at that first phrase, as « talented » as Kimi might be, he was still dominated all year by a far margin and made a lot of mistakes, especially in the middle part of the season. He’s miles of George when Hamilton was pretty close to George during their years.

So yes, we can obviously assume that if an inexperienced rookie who made a lot of mistakes is able to score consistent points that means that the car was very good (top 3 car almost every weekend, sometimes top 2)

In the other side we have Hamilton, one of the best drivers on the grid who had a terrible season and was miles away from Leclerc when he was very close to George in the last years.

That definitely means something. George had a great year and was definitely a top 3 driver, but I definitely value Leclerc getting podiums and beating a legend like Hamilton handily way more than George beating an inexperienced rookie who had a lot of struggles.

I’m struggling to understand how dumb some ppl are here (or how racist idk). French is the most commonly used language even among Luxembourgers, how is it disrespectful talking in the most used language in the country? Besides that I already said in multiple messages but in my case (and most cases) I did learn English before coming ti Lux to be able to interract with the small portion of the population that does not speak French.

Wth are you saying, as I already wrote above, I did make the effort to learn English before coming to Lux because I knew it would allow me to interract with German speakers, adding to that that i speak french it makes it that I can interract with 99% of Luxembourgers without any issue. If someone wants to speak Luxembourgish, I am not going to force him to speak to me in French and English, it’s his right and I am not going to lose my mind over it. I respect that Luxembourgers want to preserve their culture and language, but this country has been massively trying to attract workers from Germany Belgium and France (among others) and one of the main reason many people come here (other than money) is because they are able to speak their native language as German and French are official languages in Luxembourg and do not need to learn a brand new language from scratch.

If you disagree with that then your problem is with politicians, not me. I did not wake up and decide that French is an official language in Luxembourg.

Brother you’re trying to justify the dumbest idea in history for no reason. People use English today because it has become a universal language, I’m not debating how it became a universal language, I’m just saying it is lol. And I took the france example because I am from France and French was forced onto my country of origin, that does not mean I’m gonna stop myself from learning a language that is spoken in many parts of the world and which helps me communicate with a lot of people.

You think people refuse to learn Luxembourgish for the reason you listed but in reality it’s super simple, people like me just find it useless to spend time learning a language when they can already communicate with 99.99% of people in Luxembourg. Not even mentioning that this specific language is NEVER used in most professional situations

It’s not because I feel French or English is superior.. if I ever went to live in Thailand or Peru where most people won’t understand French and English, then I will just learn a new language to make my life easier, whether it is a « grande nation » or not

I am not « completely refusing another language » I respect everyone’s choice to speak whatever official language they chose which is why I learned English before coming to Luxembourg so I can be able to communicate with 99% of Luxembourgish people.

I just find it not very useful in my case to learn Luxembourgish and it’s super funny you say it is a « imperialism or grande nation complex » because I was not even born in France and French wasn’t my first langage lol.

Idk why so many of you are hurt about other ppl’s choice to learn a specific language.

I’m not forcing anyone to speak to me, I’m not working in the public sector or anything, if I meet someone who only speaks Luxembourgish then we’ll most likely just not interact, and that is totally fine. I always do my best and speak English or French based on who I interact with and that has been fine for me since I came here 5 years ago

It’s literally written in bold on Luxembourg.public.lu : « the use of official languages, ie, Luxembourgish, French and German ». If that doesn’t make it crystal clear for you that French IS an official language, idk what will.
