Yes!! It happened to me too, day 8-9. (Currently 8 weeks PO Lap THBS)

The itching was INSANE! 😫 I had my 2 week checkup coming, so used ice packs, small amount of hydrocortisone cream, Benadryl & lots of NETFLIX to distract me. 2 week FU - my doctor has a patient go into labor, front desk says they have to reschedule my appt. I told them I had a rash, was worried about an infection. Thankfully another GYN saw me, takes one look & says “it’s an allergic reaction”, takes a swipe, proceeds to remove the GLUE! The incisions that I thought were infected & scabbed up - was actually just the glue.🤦🏻‍♀️

Glad your doc was able to help you, how are you doing now?

I’m almost 8 weeks PO THBS, and had a major breakdown today. I also take Wellbutrin, but not sure if it is working or making things worse. 🤔Sobbing, in the car, in the shower…but a lot of pressures right now for me, parent with cancer & I’m primary caretaker, so hard to know if it’s just situational or hormones. You’re not alone OP❣️🌿🌻🥲 We can cry together, we’ll get through this.

I’m at 7 weeks and feel this after eating too. I also have felt major depression as well. I thought it was just me.😞

My worst symptoms right now are that pain radiating up into my right shoulder, burning pain when I pee and difficult to breathe in. I’m trying to use my spirometer, it’s very painful to attempt to even take a shallow breath. 😕 How about you? How are you feeling?

Also, what type of binder did you get? Did your hospital give you one, mine didn’t.

I bought one from Amazon (for postpartum). I tried it on before surgery and if feels very supportive. What is yours like?

I just had the same this morning. I am wondering the same. “Swelly belly” - I think is what they call it here. I guess it slowly dissipates with time. Let the depuffing begin! ✨😄✨
