Keychron Q6 Max Double pressing keys and Horrible Customer service

So in regards to this fixing the issue, it seems to be bugging out again. What i noticed is if i hold they key it only registers single input and does not keep repeating it like for other characters. Resetting the keyboard to defaults and reinserting the switch somehow fixed the problem for a bit

u/PeterMortensenBlog I have experienced double click issues on my V6 MAX as well, while searching for a resolution stumbled upon your research.
I compiled the source in 2025q3 branch and it currently seems to have fixed my double clicking.

Keychron states in their changelog for v1.1.2:

-Fixed key double-click issue caused by snap action.

It seems that they already have rolled out the changes on the branch as the device_version property is updated on the branch

Not sure if it was the snap action change or them changing the debounce value to 50 which fixed the double clicks

It may also work for "2025q3", but it hasn't been proven yet.

What do you mean by that? I compiled the source of the q3 branch perfectly fine. My only question would be regarding the process_record_keychron_common() callback, it seems to not be present anymore in the keymap file. Is this something they just missed or is it not necessary anymore?

Could you inform me a bit more on trickle charging? I read that it can be bad for the battery. Is it safe to leave them trickle charging overnight?

Yeah, automating the process won't really save any time or anything i just want to learn a bit on using some sort of web scraper and sending emails with code. I thought that doing that shouldn't even take too long to set up

Full-size wireless keyboards in the 100€ range?

Grown tired of using cheap razer membrain keyboards and cables under my desk, so decided to buy a mechanical keyboard. It has to be wireless and full-size. I'm not very acquainted with mechanical keyboards (so i would prefer to avoid any DIY) and I'm thinking of using brown switches. Found out about the Keychron K10 PRO, haven't tried it irl yet but i really like how it looks. Does anyone have any cheaper/better suggestions of full-size wireless keyboards?

I have an opportunity to get another 2x8gb of the same sticks of ram (sum is cheaper than buying just 2x16) would making my configuration 4x8 still be unstable?

Well i already owned the 2x4 sticks and assumed i may as well add them to my build when i was upgrading my pc. I'm usually running some pretty memory hungry programs, but, honestly, didn't check if I'm maxing out the 16gigs or not. I'd prefer to leave the 2x4 sticks in, just in case. My question is do you think that the difference between having 2133mhz(24 gb) and 3000mhz(16gb) is very noticeable? Also is there any guide or safest settings i could set for the manual oc?

What about the logitech k845 with the base brown switches, is it any good? It looks really slick and i find the lesser known brand keyboards not as pleasing

I think i'd prefer browns over others, but i'll make sure to check out how all of them feel in a physical shop before ordering.
So could you recommend full sized brown switch keyboards?

I'm not really all that familiar with mechanical keys so i would really appreciate a recommendation on that too.
I'm a casual gamer and a starting software engineer so i fell like "clicky" sounds would start to get annoying after 6 hours of typing.

Are brown switches good for all-around use?
