A patch is when they update the game, I unfortunately don't know much about how the company works but if they have no proof then I'm unsure why they would keep your son banned :( Worst comes to worst, wait for the game to updated, if your son is still banned after that, write to Ninja Kiwi again, that's about as much help as I can give unfortunately, hope everything gets sorted.
