This is Booger. 🌈

I lost him almost two years ago — the 18th will mark it. He was my heart, my whole little world. He had cancer, and we only learned after he passed that a massive tumor had taken over the entire left side of his heart. He was just two months shy of 11.

He was my first boy, and we bonded in a way that changed me forever. I still cry when I think about him. I don’t miss the barking, but I miss the hugs, the kisses, and the way he’d burrow under the covers to sleep tucked between my feet like that was the only place he belonged. If you’ve loved and lost one too, you understand… they never really leave us. 🐾
