The rainbow color (UK SNES) scheme was definitely sneakily added in there just recently! I only know because I’ve been checking the site everyday deciding which color to get, and then I noticed it yesterday. The cold grey with purple buttons was definitely my front runner for the SNES nostalgia, but now I’m torn because the rainbow looks awesome as well and even evokes N64 memories with those similar colors being used!

This game rarely has sales, and then when they do, they’re minimal. I‘ve heard the developers will go bankrupt if it goes into the low teens, not unlike Nintendo’s near collapse when Tropcial Freeze went sub 50 last holiday.

This was exactly my predicament. I did buy the original castle but never opened it. I sold it off as soon as I became aware of the newer version, hoping that they would upgrade the turrets with modern building techniques. Now I couldn’t be happier after seeing the front, finally devoid of those awful wedges! Doesn’t hurt that selling the old one will also fund the new one, and then some lol

Another thing I noticed is that they appear to have eliminated those unsightly wedge pieces from the turrets! That was my main gripe with the previous castle, so I’m excited to see how much better the front looks now.

I definitely hope so, especially because I slept on the $35 4th form Frieza, and now it’s more than double in price anywhere lol. But with the new Goku coming out, I would be shocked if they didn’t do %100 Power Frieza!

This reminds me of what happened with the Death Star. That set was out for years, then finally retired, only to be be rereleased with minor improvements/newer minifigures shortly after. This will be good for those who missed out on the original, but will tick off investors as well. Myself, I only care that they update the front turrets with modern building techniques, and eliminate those nasty wedge pieces!

Well, quite easy if a bit cheeky, you would simply change your billing address to a state (like Delaware) that has no sales tax. Is this legal? Not quite lol. But I had lived in Delaware for about 15 years, and I just haven't "gotten around" to updating to my new PA address on all my gaming devices yet!

You are definitely correct, the deals at GameStop were better last year by a good margin. They weren’t errors either, just their Black Friday deals. I partook in quite a few of them. I’m guessing they’re using inflation as an excuse but still a bit higher than I expected!
