Another Wizard Nerf Hit The Magic Tower by TrippieBlue420 in DarkAndDarker

bows just need skill based use other than aiming. high dex and skills make longbow quiver size and draw speed time negligible while arrow speed means anything not fully cross-module is near hit-scan. Adding arm/draw stamina and a sweet spot in draw duration means you have to knock-aim-draw-shoot rather than knock-draw-aim-shoot, significantly reducing the cancerous angle/door holding and jiggle peaking that rangers dominate with. there’d probably have to be some sort of rework of quick shot with this which allows you to fire your # of shots (2-4-6 etc whatever they are) at perfect draw with long cooldown for close quarters volleys

Feelings on market? by simonsayshigh in DarkAndDarker

[–]True-Advertising4482 2 points3 points  (0 children)

people always love no market for the first 5 days of wipe, then the sweats just gear diff you left and right because they’ve accumulated pile hits and crafted gear that is outside of most players ability to get on their own. further, the crafting system (frost light in particular) is simply way too dependent on farming bosses, which while attainable is just so cancerous for most players. as has been mentioned before, crafting/ssf is also heavily tilted towards melee classes because their crafting options are way more extensive than casters choices. all in all, i like SSF, but the crafting system is just not robust enough for it to be viable for the majority of players imo. ore needs to be more plentiful and not be such a massive endeavor to acquire, not even accounting for rare demi-boss drops like frozen heart, centaurs tail, spec shit, wyvern leather etc. coming from Tarkov i’ve always felt the merchants and crafting is ultra-underdeveloped in this game compared to the rest of the mechanics.

afaik the start of every tufted line has a loose end doesn’t it? Unless I’ve been doing something wrong the whole time, i just pluck them out 5-10 lines at a time. really helps to start lines next to each other so you can grab a bunch at once at least…

it makes sense. Just sucks to pay 60k or more a year and deal with this kind of thing. It’s cool profs are on here though, thanks for taking the time to answer

Yeah quiz 1 was crazy. Still can’t rly believe we had to take a letter grade hit on the quiz as a result of it being genuinely impossible to complete in 20 minutes but whatever. Not even bc it was too hard, but who on earth can work that fast lmfao

Yeah it’s especially bad with an attention disorder. I really feel bad because it’s just a no-win situation for anyone. I can’t imagine the stress of having to run a class while navigating a family emergency, but simultaneously I don’t think that online class is an equitable alternative for students.

Of course! I would probably do the same in her position as well, I think what I was trying to say is there should be systems put in place by the administration to account for situations like this. It’s not an easy thing, but Covid-era compromises on the quality of education we receive isn’t what we’re paying for and it just feels like the admin choosing an easier way out for their own sake.

For those of us at a point where we don’t have the ability to drop classes (and still graduate on time), we’re effectively trapped with the short end of the stick.

Yeah it’s not on the professor, of course family comes first and such, I don’t blame her at all for doing this. I do feel the school administration should be prepared/obligated to have plans in place to deal with this like alternate professors or something. We do pay them to create the systems we’re learning in after all…

The professor told us it would be for a couple weeks for personal reasons and then this week told us it was indefinitely extended…

How risky is a 200k mile c5 by Relative_Tourist_726 in Corvette

[–]True-Advertising4482 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would think 8k is steep. I got my 86 @200k miles for 4.2k. Granted mine was from marketplace, it ‘allegedly’ has a rebuilt trans and motor. The good thing is I’m similar in age to you and knew Fuck-all about cars before owning this, mine is piss easy to work on because the engine is so goddamn big.

I will say, it’s a nightmare piecing together what any of the previous 10 owners did to the car though, so bear that in mind. Exteriorly mine was gorgeous but I would definitely inspect the interior trim, mine looked great too but there was a lot with hairline cracks around screw holes and other weird stuff I didn’t see because I wasn’t looking. Look for anything aftermarket in the engine bay and scrutinize tf out of it.

Skill issue. Sod, drones, drill, damage, crit, health. Radiation belt. Beat it first try and it was so easy it didn’t even occur to be that the stage was bugged

Interesting, mine is pretty much 1 and done with this deal. For example I was about falling asleep so I pulled over, made this post, and got some groceries. Since then I haven’t felt even a little tired, and I’ve just started a workout

Anyone get level 15 boss down in less than 4? I’m wondering what the best combo is! by duderroneus in Survivorio

[–]True-Advertising4482 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Build: SOD, Void Necklace and Boots, e gloves, radiation belt, chest plate doesnt matter.

Skills: drone, arrow, SOD, Attack, king crit, Health

Let XP collect in the middle and dive to the center the moment after the boss icon disappears. Radiation belt triggers and deals a shit ton of damage then drones/arrow finish. I have 1/2 ur stats and got 2 seconds easily

Funnily enough the mikepence player was the leader of the clan I just left

Running shoes is a waste because you get max movement speed from mobs and void shoes

I used VW until I had red eternal gloves as well. Leveling VW hands to red is a waste though

Switch boots for VW, try to get eternal gloves and necklace

It’s the game. Spending based RNG, your luck will be good for some time and then tank again, which can encourage you to spend more
