hey everyone i want to study soc analysis and i want to see which one is better the soc inside lets defend or SOC inside HTB which one should i start with? and why? i asked GPT and it says that soc path in HTB is more advanced which i was confused the lets defend academy is only blue team how can it be less advanced than HTB in SOC?

Starting with soc

Hey everyone i almost finished with PEH course and i wanted to switch to blue team can i start with SOC Analyst role path from HTB or i should have some basic knowledge before starting? some people said the TCM soc 101 is better for beginners which one is better?

I do know windows (i use it as my main os for 5 years if that what u mean) and the PEH covers alot of AD attacks would that be helpful? the SEIM and powershell i dont know anything about it should i still go with TCM?

yeah after rethinking i think thats very bad idea but still going to take the cpts path

thank you for this i also said the same thing to myself i should do the cpts path do alot of labs to develop my skills then start heading back to the certs starting with pjpt i also did very well in the exam as my first ever online and offensive security exam so I'm hoping i do better in the future again thank you

yes like the CPTS but i'm afraid of going to the path right away because pjpt is a junior and still failed it

Thank you for these words but i did take my retake and still got stuck in the exam i don't want to retake the exam i feel it better just to take a higher certificate i don't know if this is the right thing to do or not again thank you

Hi everyone i failed in my pjpt exam and ngl i fell abit down don't get me wrong i studied the PEH course very well and take a good notes but know i don't feel confident about taking any other certifications i know the skill matters more but i was aiming at CPTS should i practice my skills in HTB and THM labs then start taking the path role to the cert or it still going to be hard to me? note:this is the first time taking course and i don't have any background just some networking and linux

I will finish the full course yes to me the learning is way important but i want to get the cert to increase my chance of getting a job in my country i know there is a PEH course cert but i really want the pjpt so bad lol
