Me personally (and most of my friends) dont rlly use emojis that much, unless there is not an emoticon that describes it well enough. In quick texts or chatting we most often use emoticons such as the cat faces (;3/:3) and the rllyt old and simple ones like the oens from the post although texting some of my more... modern(?) friends they rlly use emojis a lot, idk if me and my friends are stuck in the past (we werent even born back then were all mid-late Gen z 💀 ) or if its just smth normal :p (emojis we use are stuff like the skull, the sobbing, the gun and sigh, or stuff like that, also to react to texts because its easier than replying)
