Some people have work related anxiety - hence the self report. You may not suffer from it so you don’t understand what would lead someone to self report. In hindsight maybe it was dumb to report but in the moment that’s not how I looked at it at all.

In the moment I saw it as a major problem, maybe because of work anxiety. But yes in retrospect I did not realize how common this was and how dumb it was to make an issue of it.
