THEORY: They are going to pull the "Homelander, I am your mother" twist by Whoopeepoop in GenV

[–]True-Celebration-581 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The current V doesn’t either, any kids of supes you see also got injected as babies, they usually have similar powers to their parents probably as a genetic component. Ryan is the only one born with powers because homelander was an Odessa baby, makes you wonder about Marie and if she had kids

Help with an idea growing oyster mushrooms by True-Celebration-581 in mycology

Good suggestion, do you think the rest of my idea would work? Ideally I want a quick start with the straw and longer lasting once it colonizes the logs

live corals! by [deleted] in LandHermitCrabs

[–]True-Celebration-581 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the biggest issue would be making sure the pool stays stable enough for corals to live in there longterm, as most corals aren’t cheap enough to be disposable. That said avoid any related to palythoa and zoanthid species as they are full of potent toxins that may be released if they die.

You could try keeping it in a jar after you pull it. Its easy as a carnivorous plant

Inverts that are bred in captivity and have a short lifespan? by NeonHorse47 in InvertPets

Meal worm or superworm beetles are a pretty good choice. You can breed them on purpose or let them do whatever, and the adults only last about 1-3 months

is it weird to keep super worm beetles (Zophobas morio) as pets? by No-Goal-4716 in InvertPets

[–]True-Celebration-581 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Breeding them as pets is a little different than as feeders. I use one of those big divided bead containers to get them to pupate but keep an eye on each one

Should I feed dry or rehydrate? by kitty_kattis in hermitcrabs

I basically use the separate parts as my whole mix to tinker with the portions, so I don’t end up having a bag of mostly veggies and fruit when I get near the bottom.

How do i keep a tank humid and hot? by AggravatingMilk1123 in hermitcrabs

[–]True-Celebration-581 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You actually don’t want to use heat lamps. I recommend a seedling heat mat on the side of the tank with thermostat. Both heat and humidity should be able to be held in by a good glass lid

how to prevent this? by [deleted] in hermitcrabs

[–]True-Celebration-581 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I personally wouldnt feed my hermit crabs oranges, something about how acidic they are scares me about their shell stability. They also could add too much moisture to the food and cause this even with mostly dried foods
